view restaurant

we stayed at peppers hotel and decided to try their restaurant - the view. we didn't want to go down to hastings street, so a restaurant 50 meters away was a very convenient option. well guess what? we ended up eating at the view every night. thefoodis delicious and well presented, service is fantastic! i'm a very fussy eater and i loved every meal i've eaten here. plus, there is also a nice bar and most importantly, children eat for free. kids meals are same top quality and very tasty! i have no idea why this restaurant has such low ratings on zomato, it's definitely one of the best in noosa. plus, it's not as expensive as other places in noosa! confident 5 stars 👌

located in the beautiful peppers noosa resort & villas, this restaurant does have an awesome view of the surroundings. staying at the resort itself, we have the benefit of trying all 3 meals.

breakfast:
it gets really boring if you see the same buffet spread for 5 mornings in a row. 99% the same stuff. connor, you need to learn how to say no to super chatty guests, we waited 20mins for you to clean up our table (left from previous diners), we ended up doing it ourselves.

lunch:
great service this time but at 2pm & an almost empty restaurant, ourfoodtook quite a while to come out. maybe we're supposed to chill....loved their fish & chips.

dinner:
we were blown away! kids under 12 eats free from the kids menu. service was impeccable! we were recommended some great dishes & we loved them all.

food : average, ordered a medium rare sirloin which came out bordering on well done. the seafood spaghettini was rather bland and did not do much to excite the tastebuds.
service : excellent service. kids were well attended to with colouring packs and delicious looking kids meals.
ambience : great views with live music playing.
despite the great service and ambience,foodstill needs improvement.

surprisingly good!. we stayed here for the evening and it started raining. decided to dine here. thefoodreally surprised us, the quality really stood out for us. definitely would dine here again.

loved it!. we stayed at the outrigger and decided to eat at view for dinner. it was the bestfoodwe had eaten at a restaurant for quite a while!

service was friendly and extremely professional. thefoodwas absolutely delicious! i loved the pork belly and my husband's steak was divine!

as regular visitors to noosa we always stay at outrigger on little hastings resort, and really enjoy pre-dinner drinks at view. staff are welcoming, atmosphere is relaxed,foodis fresh & of good quality - we believe meals etc are well priced & of good value. i have also dined here for a beautiful dinner with chefs including alastair mcleod during noosafood& wine festival - this is a versatile kitchen - from a la carte to room service thefoodhas always been fresh & delicious.

service was good, meals too slow to come out andfoodwas very poor.

“noosa's best kept secret...not any more!!. during the noosafoodand wine festival, my partner and i visited view restaurant for a wine tasting with the wine makers. had a great time catching up with other locals, not to mention chatting to the passionate wine makers themselves.

when it was over we decided to stay for dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. the waitstaff were very welcoming and professional.
all we felt like was a good steak...even though there were some very tempting dishes on the menu, we went straight for two rare cooked stakes. the waitress was very convincing and suggested we just share an entree while our steaks were being cooked, so we tried the twice cooked pork belly...omg!!...yum, so glad we did it.
soon as our steaks arrived we cut into them, and they were cooked to perfection. actually one of the best steaks we have had, and trust me, we eat steaks everywhere.
i couldn't fault a thing, awesome food, great service, and nice and toastie warm with the heaters going.
i love that we have found somewhere new to go, undercover parking, right underneath the restaurant, and just a couple of minutes away from hastings street.
i was tempted to keep this discovery to myself, my own secret hideaway, but hey.....i just had to share. this place should be full every night of the week.
do yourself a favour and try it for yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised, as i was.

best poached eggs ever!!. i just spent the easter long weekend in noosa & was lucky enough to have my buffet breakfast included with my stay at the outrigger resort. every morning i awoke looking forward to breakfast after my walk; imagining what i'd be eating this time!! it's unfortunate that i was trying all of the other restaurants for dinner as i was eating breakfast there, but next time i go to noosa i'll be sure to try their dinner menu too! i am a big foodie & love the pleasure of a buffet breakfast. the gentleman behind the egg counter all weekend definitely knows what he's doing as they were the best poached eggs i have ever eaten, cooked to absolute perfection!! obviously, there was heaps to choose from, home made baked beans yum! they had the best grain bread i have ever tasted. even had honeycomb honey :) breakfast dessert was a piece of grain bread with honeycomb honey & a banana!! i could go on & on about the service, the quality offood& variety available! just go and try it out & i am sure that you will not be disappointed :)
