a gem.... ok, we are addicted to this place. when we first saw the restaurant we decided to try it out. it was always busy, and we love vietnamese food. it took us back as they had folding chairs and such, but that has now changed and we didn't care because the food was amazing!

when we first went there, we ended up going back three days in a row, trying different dishes each time. we brought a friend from china and he loved it. now it is our friday lunch treat to end the week, since we are trying to cut back on eating out.

for meals, everything tastes fresh and wonderful. the pho is great, red curry is perfect (sometimes it can be a little dry so each tell them you like the sauce),thaibasil rice is excellent, and the padthaiis a great meal. we have tried many things, but these are some of our fav's. all portions are large and enough for two, or just plan on taking home leftovers. of course you can eat it all, but that makes for a long afternoon at work. :)

finish the meal with a vietnamese coffee and your all set to go!

my husband and i are visiting orlando and decided we wanted pho for dinner. vietthaiwas the closest to our hotel. we were very happy with our dining experience. we both got the pho tai and it was delicious. we'll definitely go back there when visiting orlando again.

a nice small asian restaurant next to a big street. inside has an ikeathaidecor going for it. the service was great. staff was very friendly. the prices are decent. the pad clear noodles i got was decent. the flavor was good. the noodles were a bit soggy for my taste. the korean ribs were very tasty. the egg was a bit overcooked but good. the spring rolls had a bit too much noodles to meat ratio. the peanut sauce was on point. it had its ups and downs but still a decent place to check out.

horrible. me and a date came in thursday for lunch , service sucked the server was incredibly rude we could not even finish our food order as she walked away we were trying to order a few items from the app menu and regular menu but she ran away to fast

it was not busy either in there. she rushed us to leave i asked forthaitea and got sweet tea

food on the other hand was pretty good pho was bland but plentyiful

will try a chicken noodle bowl singapore and padthainext those were the other items we wished we could get in along with wings and calamari
we live in the area might be back in there hoping another server helps us the next time

ever since returning from s.e. asia i've been addicted to pho'. i've been trying the wonderful bowl of goodness all over the nation. today was one of the best i've had in a long time. thethaifish was crispy perfect! worth the visit...!

we are from atlanta! we absolutely loved this place. it's worth the wait and it's the absolute bestthaiplace we've ever had!

on a whim. we just arrived back from vacation at oia. before making the long trek back to tampa we decided to get a bite to eat. vietthaihad high marks on us, and was close by. the place definitely has a cafe feel, don't expect a romantic setting. what they lack in decor they more than make up in service and quality of food. we started off with summer rolls ... the herbs were aromatic and fresh, the shrimp was cooked to perfection. we then each ordered a bowl of pho (pho dac bien for my son and i, phothaifor my wife). at about this time we noticed the rush of customers lining up, so the place was obviously very popular. the pho was pure excellence! there was just the right broth to noodle ratio. the steak was medium rare and tender ... and all the gristly bits in the tendons just added to the complexity of the bowl. very nice and highly recommended!

great food. me and my family have been to many viet andthaicafes but this one is by far tasty.
a friend that is a regular during lunch time during the week here told us to go and check it out because the food is good and service was extremely nice.
in my opinion it was nothing near nice at all the girl had a southern accent .she was not friendly we had to repeat ourselves a few times for things we needed and to get a refill on drinks took long. she gave us a check before we could ask bout the dessert menu. we were celebrating my sons birthday but felt pushed out so we left and got ice cream else where
next time we will try to go during lunch during the week but never again a friday night

now i know why it's my kids favorite!. i came into town to see my daughter and son-in-law and got taken to vietthaicafe for dinner. it's their favoritethaiplace in the area. as a foodie and lover of vietnamese and thai, this was superb!

try the salted fish fried rice and the whole fish basil. all the dishes we had were wonderful and the service was lovely and attentive.

i will definitely hit this place again when i am back in town!

bad service today.... i have been going every week for the last month, food has always been good and service had been excellent until today. our server seemed to be in a rush to take order and go back to counter i guess to text on her cell or something. there were only 3 tables at the time, i asked for a soup which as it says on the menu comes accompanied by a plate of bean sprouts,thaibasil and jalapenos, my wife asked why it was not brought out and our server got very defensive and arrogant saying it did not come with it, much to my surprise since it has always been served on all my previous orders and menu clearly says it is part of it. i could understand even if i read the menu incorrectly or if she had forgotten to bring it with the soup, what i did not like was the arrogance and willingness to get into an argument with a loyal customer...well loyal until today, i would not mind traveling or paying extra elsewhere where a customer is treated with respect like my favorite oriental places: "little saigon" or "thai thani", not only is their service far superior, so is the food.

total yum. i wanted to try dinner here, but arrived on a monday and they were closed. i raced by the next day on my way to the airport. got the seafood padthaimedium spicy. the staff was very friendly and helped with driving directions. the padthaiwas great, just the right spice level, my nose was running after ten minutes. it was full of meat, five shrimp and oodles of baby scallops and calamari. i wish i could take them home to my hometown. we need a place this good. very affordable, too.

my fiance and i have been faithful patrons of this establishment for a couple of years now and we've always been satisfied with the food and the service. the employees and owners are very personable and always make excellent food recommendations to our liking. every dish is prepared fresh and efficiently, so its never a long wait. the food is seasoned to perfection and can be customized to individual food tastes. the food and service definitely has a personal touch and we highly recommend this establishment to anyone who appreciates a delicious vietnamese orthaihome cooked meal.

nice, fast, friendly. this was my third visit here. i have been twice at early dinner time before, today was lunch-time visit. i am not usually working in the area, and was happy to know i could come here for lunch(although they are closed mondays as i learned yesterday) the service was excellent and fast. i already knew what i wanted so i ordered right away and my food was out in just a few mins, steaming hot and fresh. there was a ton of food, so be prepared for leftovers. thethaibasil rice was great, and no unrecognizable pieces of chicken present like at some places. i ordered medium spicy which was just spicy enough without being too much. there were two servers who both checked on me frequently. they seemed to have a nice following and i noticed they knew several of the customers that came in for takeout. it is always nice to see a place recognize repeat clients. it doesn't look like much on the outside but is really worth a stop.

i had thethaifish cake, wonton soup, & chinese mustard greens with chicken.... and was all so good..... plus, how cute is the owner/waitress?... :) great personality ~

it's nice to have a restaurant with a combination of vietnamese andthaicuisine in one place. the service is good and quick. the food was awesome. we had the padthaiwhich was great. the calamari was nice and crispy and had a nice mild spiciness to it. the salted fish fried rice which is known to many asians was really tasty and not too salty. just like the one i was used to back in the philippines. the honey chicken was done just right and not too sweet. the chicken penang curry did not have an overpowering flavor and everyone in my table agreed it was very good.
