i had a family dinner time at via delhi tonight. i would like to share my dining experience as follows:

positives
1. good ambience
2. good food but not great
negatives
1. no dedicated washroom for the restaurant. we had to use the building’s common washroom which is just average.
2. water dripping from the av vent above, directly on our dining table. when complained, the person just smiled and said “that’s from ac’! our surprise, he neither offer another place for us or apologized for the inconvenience!
3. staff doesn’t have attention to detail. for fried rice, they didn’t bring vinegar and soy sauce, for grilled chicken tikka no knife along with fork, we had to remind him a couple of times for rumali roti and when it came, they brought more plates that we ordered!
4. staffs are very busy serving parcels/talabat bikers. hence there is less attention to diners inside.

i wouldn’t prefer to choose via delhi for a second time!

rajma had a burnt taste, not expected from a restaurant.

this review is not for the restaurant but zomato. their riders are stealing food now. the restaurant confirmed the order was picked but it never reached me. zomato made me wait for 2 hours just to tell me my food can’t be delivered due to “technical issues”. i mean what non sense! anyone can track their order and i knew the rider went off route 35 kms away from my place to musaffah. i could have ordered again only if the zomato guys could be transparent and speak truth out front rather than make you wait! the riders name is zahoor. he could be from talabat also.

tonight i ordered my dinner from via delhi. i was really disappointed ☹️ with their food which was not a good taste at all. i was ordered chicken steam, chicken tandoori momo, methi paratha, roasted papad.
start with methi paratha which is really unacceptable that they said in menu methi paratha but i didn’t think they really knows about this. they give methi roti and methi was only some as toppings. this really disappointed.
momo was not good as it should be like which we are getting in other restaurant. it was taste like normal dumplings and pricing was really high vs the quality & quantity. you will not get the authentic taste of momo. the chutney/ sauce they provide that’s not fit with as well.
packaging was ok but not providing cutlery is not suitable.
overall i hope they will note above points and improve.
