food was exceptionally good. i ordered their vegetables cheese burger with a lot of scepticism. at most restaurants, they can't even get meat burgers right, butuppercrust dream to really knowswhat they're doing. they have truly gone by their motto 'never compromise' says. both quality and quantity wise, it was no compromise. the burger had zuchini and caramelised onions in a bun that was just the right texture and taste. the smokiness of the veggies too was done perfectly. the burger came with tasty potato wedges. their spanish omelette platter had a great omelette filling of stretchy cheese, olives, red and green capsicum, and onion. it was accompanied by two types of sausages, one smoky and one herby — both tasty, and two hashbrown discs and half a grilled tomato. even the grilled tomato was good. only the hashbrown was a bit oily tasting.
we also ordered paprika sprinkled potato wedges. that too was perfectly spiced. could be a bit crispier but it's fine as it felt like baked potato wedges rather than fried. and considering that that the hashbrown was a bit oily, i prefer baked and non-oily to fried and oily. frying things perfectly without it being oily is not something everyone gets right.
waiting to tryuppercrust's meat burgers and of course their other awesome sounding platters and steaks. hope all of it keeps to the standard of the awesome meal we had today.
