the staff was extremely nice and helpful. you can tell that thefoodis homemade and not pre-cooked! absolutely loved this place, and highly recommend the gumbo!!

potato salad. this came as the 2nd side on the stuffed peppers plate. tastes like i made it myself. i wanted to meet the cook :-)

first visit-looking forward to the next..foodwas pretty good. we are from new orleans and had been looking for a taste of home without having to do it ourselves, and i'm glad we found two sisters. the two servers were very nice, one more engaging than the other, but they both were very nice. we ordered the blackened catfish with cajun rice, stuffed bell peppers with mac-n-cheese and potato salad, and a kids chicken nugget meal. i forgot to get a menu, but the prices are good and the portions are nice too. i needed a to-go box. fyi- the interior is not one to be found in a luxurious foodie magazine, but hey, as long as thefoodis good that doesn't bother me. they did appear clean though. i'll postfoodpics...and i'll definitely be back. go check 'em out!

terrific food!. i grew up in south louisiana & eating here is like going home again. gumbo: almost as good as my dad's. i set a pretty high standard for cajunfood& two sister's gets mighty close. i eat here often. if you don't like their food, you won't like any true cajunfood(with a little new orleans flair)..

didn't taste as good as reviews. today was my first time at two sister's. after reading the reviews and hearing about this place my tastebuds were eagerly ready for some good eats. i am starting a detox tomorrow and chose to eat here so i could have a good hot meal before i start. now, i must let you know i go to new orleans yearly and also patronage razzo's.

the sign two sister's is not illuminated so i pasted it twice. the lady that took my to go order was nice, courteous, and told me about the specials as i explained it was my first time there. i ordered the catfish, shrimp, gumbo, and bread pudding w/rum sauce. just knowing thefoodwould be as good as she and the reviews claimed i didn't need to check it prior to leaving. had i looked at the fish i would have know it was not good.

to my dismay, the fish tasted as if it had been sitting in water and the breading just fell off the entire piece of fish. the shrimp were small with no special taste to the breading. the gumbo was okay nothing flavorable about it, the bread pudding was bland with no flavor of the rum sauce. i spent $16.00 and threw away over half of the meal/dessert. i will call them tomorrow let them know how disappointed i am, but will give them another chance by trying something different on the menu. i will continue to get my good cajun eat on at razzo's and of course when i visit new orleans.

growing up in new awlins - i matriculated in da lowa nint wawd - and spending much of my adult life there, this place is a real find.

first trip i ordered an oyster po-boy dressed....one bite and i called the waiter over to ask about the bread 'cause it tasted like real new awlins po-boy bread. he said my dad(the owner) brings it in from gambino's bakery in new orleans. understand, the bread is what differentiates this from a sub etc etc anywhere else in the world. oysters, shrimp, roast beef, you got it....etoufee, gumbo, shrimped stuff bell-peppers you got it. dessert? how 'bout some new orleans bread puddin'?

yup, if you ever called new awlins home, or if you have been and understand what i'm saying, you gotta go there. the decor and ambiance isn't much, but if you know new orleans food, you know that some of the bestfoodin new orleans is found at places like this. enjoy!!!!!

i got the shrimp etouffee, fried okra and washed it down with the who dat sista punch.

first off, the who dat sista punch. it is divine -- pineapple based and sweet, the punch cools the eventual heat from the etouffee nicely. the okra was crisp and hot. and wait, what's this in my etouffee -- a fish fillet? all over rice? can i give this double thumbs up?

all of this came to about $15 - a fair price for so much good food

i cannot wait to go back and try some of the other dishes offered.

clean restaurant, friendly staff, good food. it was quiet for a saturday at lunch, but thefoodwas good.

yuck. i know cajunfoodand frequent new orleans. the gumbo was full of chicken neck bones, crab shells and other hard, crunchy, chocking pieces of ? no okra in it either, the worse gumbo ever . and over priced at $5.99 a bowl. the turkey po boy was ok.

not worth the money or time, never again.

excellent. very, very good poboys. had the cajun turke and i couldn't have been more happy. awesome bread and meat filled sandwich. will go back. atmosphere was a little lacking andfoodtakes a bit, but well worth the wait. great server and the cook comes out and chats. new orleans indeed.

highly recommend!! had the katrina....roast beef sandwich that should require a fork, but i got messy and dug in....very yummy! it also came with a bowl of gumbo. just the right amount of heat. the servings were huge. this place is a hole in the wall and easily missed if you aren't looking for it. but i always believe a hole in the wall has the bestfoodand two sisters did not disappoint.
