don't eat here keep rolling by. ouch! it was our first visit too sushi on the roll, with several cars in the parking lot i thought that was a good sign. upon entering there was a mass of empty tables, i guess the cars are for all the employees(?). this is a walk up an order type joint, service was good with several people working behind counter and the place was clean but still errilly empty.
food was delivered in good time but that is when disappointment started setting in. there was a stack of carrot slices in each bowl and what seemed like cups of celery that kept deflecting my utensils. somewhere below that mess was my "fried rice" but all it seemed to me was rice with a mess of soy, no peas/carrots/egg what one would expect with fried rice at all. the chicken slices were quite large and of good quality, however lacked flavor altogether. the chicken was lightly seasoned but pan grilled, the pieces were much too large to absorb any flavor and dry overall. maybe the lack of seasoning was a good thing since after asking for a side of honey spice seasoning i discovered it was yet an additional source of my eating displeasure.
just for comparison panda express is not my favorite but let's say on a scale of 1 to 5 panda is maybe a 3, i'll give sushi roll a 1. horrible, bad, no good, no hope. honestly this is one of the worst meals i have had in a long, long time.
