good customer service, cool dark atmosphere, tasty deliciouskoreanfood! i don’t normally eat a lot of spicy food so can barely handle the mild spicy flavour. my favourite dishes are the sweet and sour chicken wings, pizza with honey, beef tartare with sashimi. this place is great for sharing multiple dishes with a group of friends. would come back again.

got 20% off twelve using evouch the other night. i know, going to twelve on a tuesday night is a bit much, but the boys and i were craving somekoreanfried chicken. shameless plug but use my code “tomato21” for an extra voucher code on evouch.

twelve gives an assortment of hearty stews, crispy fried chicken and my favorite, the simple but tasty gorgonzola honey “pizza”.

twelve’s twist on the gorgonzola pizza sees them turning it into something actually more like a cheesy quesadilla. paired with a couple bottles of their signature drinks and some fried chicken makes for a great night out.

we went to this restaurant tonight and found food were poor taste such a lot of hot chilli and salty . we asked staff to reduce the level of spices but they said chefs not willing to do that. food were taken so long to serve and staff were rude. nobody did clean table and took plates away. we don’t want to come back there anymore. to be feelkoreanfood are awful and unhealthy.

twleve another greatkoreanjoint that really knows how to handle their chicken. unlike other places in cbd, twelve actually gives significantly larger portion sizes and better flavours too tbh. spicy chicken was damn amazing and was enough for 3 people. pizza surprisingly great too.
will definitely come here again. it's great for large groups. definitely bit pricier than usual. soju costed around $17 which i thought was crazy but still bought it anyway hahaha. service is avg dont expect anything amazing.

great place to start your night out. be warned it does get quite packed and loud but that is part of the vibe. the food is not mind blowing, just classickoreandishes. it is a bit expensive for what it is but the location is what contributes to that. wish they had more vegan vegetarian options.

so far the bestkoreanbar i’ve been to. had a booking for a large (15-20 people) group on a saturday night and the venue was a perfect option. the venue is very large and has heaps of space so really good for bigger groups.

we ordered a few different sharing platters of fried chicken, spicy cooked chicken, corn cheese and fried tofu. all the food was really generous portion sizings and could easily be shared between 3-5people. my favourite was the spicy chicken (stirfried) which was very flavoursome and spicy.

the service was really polite and prompt, dealt with us being a really loud group of annoying young people which was really nice.

would definitely recommend to everyone, and looking forward to coming back.

like akoreanrestaurant which is awesome. thekoreanstyle bbq chicken was one of the best. another dish was like raw or slightly steamed beef? i did not eat much raw food so could not provide a review. atomosphere was relaxing. would go back again next time! perfect place for beer andkoreanspicy chicken!

twelve is a popularkoreanrestaurant and bar which entertains young people on weekends on a regular basis. i used to come here frequently and it’s always packed! they serve all your favourite soju flavours, mine being green grape.

other than soju, they also serve a variety of dishes that suit drinking such as fried chicken, sharing style soups, fried snacks and the best spicy pork belly!

the service is quite fast and friendly, food is usually spicy.

just dined here recently with wifey and work friends. we were served by accommodating staff members which set the tone for a great dining experience.

wife and i had doukbokki and chicken platter, which is their special on tuesdays.

the chicken platter had 5 different types of fried chicken. it was 37 dollars well spent in terms of gustatory satisfaction and portion size. i particularly liked the one coated with herbs and the traditional sweet and spicykoreanchicken.

ambience was good except for the very dim lighting which made it hard for me to eat chicken with bones.

tip: come here on weekdays to get 2 dollars off each dish you order.

the online review and the menu of this place looked so good.

i liked the dining environment - less like traditionalkoreanrestaurants, and more like a bar. seemed like the perfect place to catch up with friends or have a drink on evening and weekends.

we have tried fried chicken from many different places. unfortunately, the fried chicken with cheese from this place just did not hit the brief. never mind that it was not sweet, spicy, and sticky likekoreanfried chicken should be. the skin was crunchy enough, but completely flavorless. the meat was quite dry. and although it was topped with a generous of cheese, it was in powder form, which made the dish even more dry. would have been better if the cheese was melted.

the other two dishes we ordered were very pleasant though. my friend found the spicy pork belly soup too spicy, but i thought it was absolutely delicious. the pork was cooked perfectly tender, and there was a good amount of vegetables.

the show stopper was the gorgonzola pizza. i never have thought of pairing cheese with honey, but for some reason, the flavours just combined so beautiful. we could not stop eating it!

we did find the serving sizes a bit smaller than other similar restaurants, but cost wise it was still very affordable. all in all, twelve was both a hit and a miss. i think i would just not order fried chicken from here next time, but would still come back just for their pizzas.

i only have one word for this place. awesome.

one thing which i admire aboutkoreanculture is how they have the perfect structure for having a good time. combining meals with casual drinking, the dishes twelve serve are perfect for a night of glass exchange. i strongly believe that there isn’t another place in auckland that can match the experience that twelve provides and thatskoreanalcohol at suitable prices with drinking food.

if you’re akoreanliquor lover then twelve is definitely the spot to be. i came here originally for dinner and drinks for a colleague who is heading over to amazon in sydney. we ordered the snow’d chicken which was basicallykoreanfried chicken with melted cheese on top with spicy sauce and white reddish on the sides. fried pork belly cheese fondue ( yes, cheese fondue it was amazeballs) this was so awesome that we ordered the chicken version straight after. we also got an altang which iskoreanfor fish egg soup. i adore the fact that you get fried finger food like chicken here but also heartykoreansoups. all the while we were dining we were also drowning ourselves in soju.

i had so much fun at dinner that literally 3 hours later i came back with my drinking group of friends and we went bonkers at twelve.

i will admit that my review will definitely be biased and that is purely because of the fact that i had an absolutely killer time. i mean, i cant remember the last time i came back to a place after only being 3 hours away.

showstopper: best place in town to grab somekoreanalcohol and drinking meals.

overall grade: a+
