crust is wonderful thin fold it over and you have a nice piece of new york style pizza

this place rocks for pizza! best pizza i have found in the lake norman area. i will be back next time i'm in the area. very friendly and a super clean place to eat. i would drive 100 miles to get here.

recently moved from nj - we know good pizza & so does tony's!
we introduced tony's to my brother & sister-in-law, who moved here from brooklyn 6 years ago, and thought they'd never find pizza like they had in nyc.
in general, i haven't found a restaurant in charlotte that i'm crazy about, but for good pizza tony's nails it

nice place - pizza good - the service was not the greatest. asked questions on order process - and was greeted very rudely. sorry - not going back - other choices available.

great. went in and it was a nice and clean store. we order a large pizza, chef salad, cheese sticks, and jap. poppers. the price is fair. the pizza was excellent, salad was huge and delicious, cheese sticks and poppers where just frozen and fried up but that not a big deal just won't order those again. overall a great place .

terrible experience. i called in my order and they said it would be 20 minutes for takeout. i got there and waited in line to pay. so far so good. im thinking ten minutes and i can go back to work ( im on a break)...all together thirty minutes so far so i go up and ask the lady how much longer. they check the ovens and nothing is working. they said another ten minutes. today tried to give some excuse that she said "at least" 20 minutes...i remember the quote time andthere was no "at least" or i wwouldn't have stopped. overall 1 hour for 3 pepperoni calzones. everyone i was in line with was eating or had already left! all the togo i saw on top of oven were gone already picked up. how do calzones take an hour??? hot ovens like they have take 10 minutes to bake calzones. i won't ever go back and will never recommend this place to anyone i know.

the pizzas are of the ridiculously huge (a medium-sized pie is bigger than an extra large from any delivery chain), ny-style variety and are consistently pretty darn good (or at least i thought consistently until this experience...).

this is one of our favorite restaurants! however, the service has been extremely slow. it seems we always have to wait a minimum of 30 to receive our food!!

finally found a good pie! we moved from ny and had yet to find even a remotely good slice. it's either been severely undercooked or nothing like ny style pizza. this pizza is perfect!!! our search is over. from now on we only order from tony's!
