moksha has transformed itself into an great roof top restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating right next to themetrostation...great place to unwind with family and friends or catch up with some live cricket. food menu now is continental and the best part is geist on tap with pint and pitcher options. food and drinks are reasonably priced off course now with some service charges. service is decent and place get crowded during evenings and weekends. there is also a small ac section in case you are here for a pint or two on a summer afternoon.

this is located right next to yelchenahallimetrostation. the rooftop gives you a view of themetromoving up and down, would say it's a nice sight up there.

it is not a brewery, they have the standard drinks and served by your choice. i have always liked the vegetarian platter which is huge and a lot of things to taste in that.

we also tasted their paneer tikka and that is so delicious. the paneer was soft and tender. they customize the taste to one's preferences.

their service is pretty quick and nice. they ensure that one is comfortable dining. the place is huge and one can maintain a great social distance in this place.

i love to end my dinner here with a shahi tukda which is topped with a thick rabri and nuts which is very delicious.

a great find near the yelchanahallimetrostation with super cool rooftop ambiance. one of the few bars which have a great collection of beers on tap and suitable for families and catch ups. good range of liquor and a well curated menu makes it a ideal hand out. must tries are peri peri fish, chicken 65 and their alfredo pasta!!!

i've been here twice and both the times i've had nothing but a good experience. during the noon, there is 1+1 on beers and 2+1 on hard liquor. in the evenings, you only get 2+1 on hard liquor. coming to the food, i will say most of them were awesome except for maybe chili chicken. otherwise, the stand out dish here is their peri-peri fish. it just melted in your mouth and with the booze, it's even better. i've had their chili chicken keema and it's one of the kinds that i've had. i loved it! i've tried their mutton chops and mutton pepper fry. while i'm not a fan of chops for the sheer amount of bones it had, i still enjoyed the juicy taste.  their onion rings tasted the best with the crumbs on it. i will say this place is a hidden gem for all those who reside in that area. this is on the rooftop and you can see themetrotrains from there. it's a very nice view out there and is a must-visit.

something new in kanakapura road. this is located right next to themetrostation. this pub like cafe is on a terrace with a specious ambience indoor as well as outdoor. one wall of greenery inside adds the look to it, as soon as we came out of the lift we could see the bottles arranged so well, when climbing the terrace they have hung the frames which tells us how gin was started etc.

food: menu contains different cuisines and a wide rage of options.
stared with all time favourite dish that is backed nachos which was overloaded and it was so crispy and spicy, then we had something different on the menu that was bhel puri inspired chatapata cheeslings, i tasted it for the first time, it was cheeslings tossed with tangy spicy chutney, roasted peanuts, cilantro and sev whichb tasted very good, then with an other starter crackling spinach and crispy corn, the spinach was crispy abs good but the corn was not crispy instead not was a bit hard. then for the main course we had vegetable loaded pizza wich was okay okay, it was completely filled with butter but not cheese and broccoli was not fresh and tasted very bad.

drinks : orders some couple of beer, cocktails and mocktails which was good, they also have crafted beers (geist)
overall good place to spend time with family and friends.

bakasura rejoices!

this place is right next to themetrostation and is above a lodge! the ambience is soo perfect, it has inside seating as well as the rooftop option. the bar is perfectly placed at the centre.

the menu options are amazing. it includes continental and indian and also buffet and alacarte.

the whole place is stunning and perfectly maintained.

bakasura was here on a saturday afternoon. the place made us so happy. the lighting was good. the weather was great and the rooftop option was the perfect one.

when coming to food we ordered a lot of them.
starting from the paneer tikka ending it with the sizzler, every single thing was perfect.

the egg rice curry, the pasta and the crunchy pizza was perfecto

both the mocktails we ordered were upto the mark!

toast of terrace, something new is being added to the kanakpura road. this place is located next to themetrostation this pub is located on the rooftop of a service apartment . it is quite unique in looks and the name perfectly suits the place. they have indoor and outdoor seatings which can accomodate around 80-100 pax.

i had visited this place on a brunch. they start their brunch from 999. with unlimited mocktails and food.

i tried their mojito gone wild which was a unique mojito combination with grenadine syrup. providing a tangy taste.

food i tried their panko crumbed chicken quite crispy from outside and tender and soft from inside. best to go with your cocktails.

panko crumbed fish - something i liked.

chakna platter was an additional that i tried which was good combination of bhel , garam chat and lotus seeds. well prepared and served in small bowls.

the peri peri fish: fish was fresh, well marinated. melts in your mouth!!!

tempura prawns : one word delicious!! loved every bit of it

i also tried their pizza and the pesto pasta. well prepared with cheese and cream to make it amazing.

the desserts were quite delicious 😋. i liked the brownie the most. well prepared .

overall this was an amazing experience. they need to work on their service. rest is good.

toast on terrace is a rooftop restaurant having a beautiful ambaince with the theme of proper rooftop bar setup. you can enter the place through a yellow stairs which is eye soothing with those funny images that would keep your humor intact.  this beautiful place is just a hidden gem on top of an oyo hotel near yelchenahallimetrostation.
i had visited this place with some of my friends for a sunday brunch.

we had started with some cocktails - i had caribbean punch - rum based cocktail with the combination of white rum and old monk with the twist of pineapple and grenadine syrup. this drink had a soothing pineapple taste with citrus flavor overtaking the bitterness of the rum.

i had chakna platter - something you would enjoy with your drinks.
then i tried their cheesling chat pata bhel - one of my favorite here. not so soggy and the taste of cheesling was well preserved while they added the chat pata flavor to this.
bangalore bhaji - it was good.
sholay paneer - soft, well cooked and goes amazing with the chutney.

i had the chance of trying their woodfired pizza which was good. the crust was well cooked but needed to work on the toppings.

pesto pasta was good. i loved their combination of veggies and pasta. hands down i would love to visit this place for this pasta.

in desserts i had sizzling brownie, which was good.
black forest fish bowl was a surprise. something i loved being a fan of the black forest.

i loved this place for its ambaince and their drinks. the service was a bit slower when it comes to drinks but overall this is a nice place to spend time with friends over a weekend.

verdict:
food 4/5
ambaince 4.5/5
service 3/5

what a wonderful experience coming here for sunday brunch. the atmosphere is great just adjacent tometrostation is quite very easy to communicate. although this area is not full of restaurants and pub, this rooftop is definitely a treat for the neighborhood.

this is certainly a must for anyone visiting nyc. the rooftop is absolutely beautiful and you dont have to wait for a table as its very huge and also has may sections outdoor overlookingmetrotrains, indoor with cocktail bar section and buffet place and a cute glass house type suits for family, with one more floor for couples with the spectacular terrace with the amazing and enviable view of the city as your backdrop. what else is required for a date nights and groupies.!

the entrees-
margarita- tequila based,
i loved the bright red paired with a pop of green from the lime. i felt like a cranberry margarita
it just the right taste not to strong or bitter. perfect for people who doesn’t like that strong taste from alcohol and is looking for something more soft. is not that sweet either. overall it was instagrammable presentation with backdrop of there amazing ambiance.

we ordered for
broccoli and almond salad - the salad was fresh and love their dressing.
bengaluru bhajjis- as i am a bangalorian, i was quite surprised in-fact happy to see this on the menu,
and ordered first for entrees, and i loved it, it was crispy and perfect. worth for the money with more quantity and taste wise too.

mains-
pesto pasta- pasta was cooked perfect, it was hot ,but they give you so much in one serving there is no way you could eat any more!!
veggie reloaded-hands-down has the best wood-fired pizzas, a fresh dough pizzas- i in and around for the area.the golden crust puffed up pizza was nice and crispy with  loaded topping was too good.

desserts-
sizzling brownie- a truly indulgent dessert ,
i loved it.

cannot wait to go again on my next trip....

this place is a rooftop place just overlooking themetrostation with a small outdoor portion and a indoor setup with quirky setup. the place is pretty for sure.

🔶beverages
out of the signature cocktails , i would only suggest to go for mojito gone wild which is basically liit with grenadine syrup.

🔶food
the food here needs attention for the basics to be corrected.

in starters, chicken poha strips was well made , crispy and can be ordered. bhel puri cheeselings is another order for a bar bites starter though. vegetarian nachos is good but the nachos were not crispy enough.
the chicken ghee roast lacked the basic spice and masala. the crispy prawns were bland and didnt tasted well.

quattro formaggi is a nice choice for pizzas if you are a cheese lover. the pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven and hence the crust is well cooked.

we tried the indian mains, the dal makhani lacked the authentic taste. chicken kolhapuri where the chicken was too hard to have a bite.
the desserts were not upto the mark. gajar halwa tres leches is only gajar halwa , no tres leches is there.

visited this place last weekend for their sunday brunch and had an absolutely amazing time. the first thing that strikes you when you visit this place is the setup and ambience. it's got a very relaxing feel to it and there's so much greenery all around. it's a treat to the eyes and you feel relaxed and amidst nature as soon as you step in. it's located on the terrace, and directly overlooks themetrostation, but there's actually no noise of traffic. they have quite a few great tasting dishes a couple of really amazing cocktails. in fact their cocktails stole the show for me. the following section gives a brief overview of all the dishes that i tried:

for drinks i tried:

mojito gone wild (8.5/10) - really loved this unique twist on the mojito, with tequila and white rum both added. in addition to muddled mint leaves and lime juice, they topped it with orange juice to give it a nice sweet citrusy punch. grenadine syrup was also added to make a reddish-orange gradient.

caribbean punch (8.5/10) - a decent cocktail containing a mix of both white and dark rums. consistent with its name, it did pack a punch, and if you do like strong cocktails, and rum of course, you should order this.

margarita (8/10) - a classic, you can always go for this to be on the safe side, however, with other cocktails being really nice, this did seem slightly less strong. even flavour wise, could have had a little more tang. however, if you want a milder, classic cocktail, you can always go for this.

for food i tried:

panko crumbed chicken (8.5/10) - always love a nice crispy fried chicken along with my drinks and this appetizer did exactly that. it had potato wedges and coleslaw served alongside which were nice too. the chicken was crispy on the outside and moist inside, and served hot was a delight in every way. it was served on a bed of harissa sauce which was slightly less spicy than i've tasted before.

panko crumbed fish (8.5/10) - similar to the dish above, but with fish used instead of chicken. obviously, i liked this more, as i love fish. however, flavour wise there wasn't much difference between the 2, so you can go for either depending on which meat you like more.

chakhna platter (8.5/10) - this was really nice. it basically contained 3 small cups containing roasted lotus seeds or makhaane, a chana jor garam chaat, and bhel. they were nice, the lotus seeds were salted, while the other 2 items had a bit of spice to them, making this a nice rounded chakhna platter.

cheesling chatpata bhel (9/10) - this was basically bhel made from cheeslings, but this stole my heart. just loved the cheesy flavour that the cheeslings added to the bhel. as a result of it, the bhel became more rich, and in the end had that creamy feel to it when you swallow it. it was a burst of flavours in the mouth.

peri peri fish (8.5/10) - just loved the way the fish was cooked here. it was so moist and succulent and just melted in the mouth. the flavours were nice too, but a bit too sweet to call it peri peri. however, going by taste, you must order this if you're a fish fan.

pesto pasta (8.5/10) - this was again very well made, with the flavour of pesto in itself not very evident. however, that was mostly because of the generous addition of cheese and cream to it. they even grated fresh parmesan cheese on top, which made it amazing.

overall, it's a nice place, great for just hanging around with friends or meeting for a couple of drinks. it is good value for money, and the ambience top class.
