always "hoppy" at t.j finley's. t.j finley's is a real pub for real beer drinkers. if you are a genuine beer enthusiast you will love this place. they stand true to their "no crap on tap" motto and very often will have beer samplings to introduce new, respectable beers to those who appreciate them. you mainly go for the beer, but the pub menu is by far better than most regular pub food. all their food is made with beer as well. my personal favorite is their stout chile. all their food has beer suggestions listed next to them so you can match you brew with your food. there is also a "cheers" quality to thebarwhere all the staff get to know the names of their regulars and are all super outgoing and nice.
the downside, like any bar/pub, on the weekends it attracts the party kids in so it tends to get somewhat rowdy as the night goes on. if you are a more "mature" beer connoisseur, i would suggest going either right after work hours for a nice beer and some good dinner, or on a weekend late afternoon to early evening and then leave around 8pm or 9pm when it starts to get too loud.
