i went to this restaurant with my best friend who recommended it to me and i loved it, i had a lamb curry and it was so nice i also enjoyed the lamb chops, my napkin was a in need of replacing and before i could ask a waiter bought over some more, excellent service, the place and food was amazing inside was fantastic and the food was first class, toilets were spotless and the outside grounds great too, i will be goingbackfor my birthday.

beautiful surroundings. absolutely packed and no rebooking so be prepared to wait. waiter young friendly and fresh . could be more polished manner but fast and efficient at beginning taking orders etc but hard to get towards end of meal.
meal - average to good - lamb chops tasty but not the best i' ve had. black pepper chicken..too much black pepper! - ok..
food overall just average.
overall reasonable price 20-25 a head.
i do think need to raise the game on food / service to match the superb surroundings.
will be goingbackto give a second chance.

simply dreadful customer service - avoid this place!

we had booked for a table of 20 at the start of the week, for 9pm friday night. when we arrived we were told our table wasn't ready and shunted off upstairs into a lobby off their empty banqueting suites.

after waiting for 20 minutes with nobody coming to see us, no offer of drinks or menus, a couple of us went down to ask what was happening. we were told an earlier booking had overstayed and they were trying to encourage them to finish up and leave. surely when we had a prior booking they should have ensured a table was free?

after another five minutes, still no news the manager said the table was being prepared and we would get free popadoms and pickles (something we regularly get in other local restaurants in any case!)
after another 5 mins (30 mins after our booking-time) i went down again to chase them up and was told we could come down. however when we came into the restaurant we still had nowhere to sit and were asked to gobackto the lobby.

all the staff were arrogant, rude and unapologetic about having messed up our booking and kept us waiting. at 9.35pm we all walked out after a member of our group had contacted another local restaurant who were able to accommodate our group. needless to say, this is now a large group of people, and all our friends, who will never go near tipu sultan again!

this high class restaurant was a experience i will not forget ,from the moment we walked into this stunning restaurant we realized it would be somewhere we would want to comebackto ,

i suffer from a gluten and wheat allergy ( coeliac ) so i am always worried about eating somewhere new ,all the staff were very attentive and offered to show us round ,even recommending some of the dishes they checked all ingredients for me and recommended what they thought i may like ,there was a great choice to choose from.

the luxurious setting`s , the service ,the food ,the atmosphere makes this place a great place to take someone special ,i have never tasted such tender deliciously flavored food ,the tastes of every dish we ordered was a delight ,i will highly recommend if you have a special occasion ,you will not find anywhere better

service - seen better at mcdonald.
decor - amazing.
drinks - asked for a virgin mojito, got a lemonade. sent itbackcamebackworse.
food - no order of the food coming, plates where not given 8 minutes after the dishes served, had to ask the waiter for everything, lack common sense.
food quality - if you had bad wedding food, then this is your place. no ressemble to the decor. small portions, over spiced, and asked for a chicken tikka masalla, got chicken leg thighs.
avoid avoid, over priced, bad service food even worse. they messed up so bad they gave our money back, we went else where after
