after a nice weekend walk around hampstead, london curry blog and i really fancied a good game of scrabble and a few nibbles. thewellshas a good pub vibe and was fairly busy on a saturday afternoon... clearly all the cool folks of north london are hanging out playing board games too. our snacks of olives and almonds were decent and the food other people nearby ordered looked pretty good, but being in hampstead you're looking at an expensive afternoon if you settle here for a few hours.
michael was on top form and won at scrabble this time, so i'll probably be back at thewellsfor a rematch some time!
