our fav in bryan. the village is one of our favorite places to work! we get there late in the morning to have their awesome coffee and they keep us there all day because of their to-die-for lunch menu. yummy!!! awesome atmosphere for getting lots of work done and being inspired.

thank you village cafe for great food, drinks, and atmosphere for us to work!

i'm a regular!!. i absolutely love this place, i try and go at least twice a week just because i always crave their tomato soup and variety of sandwiches. i don't waste my time eating at the mainstream joints in college station, i love the artistic feeling that bryan has and this restaurant just offers both the atmosphere and great healthy food! i never feel guilty after eating here, no matter what i get!
if you are in the mood for a fun brunch, i recommend the mimosas! they squeeze the orange juice right there and the result is delectable!

: ). i had their 100th monkey sandwich, with a veg soup. the sandwich was great but the soup reminded me of some good home cooking.

awesomely yummy. i love this place. besides being a local business, they have very fresh entrees and a pretty funky atmosphere (they have a mini-art studio inside).

also, they pride themselves on using local producers (farmers) for their food: vegetables, meat, milk, etc. and they make fresh bread regularly.

great people running the place too: it is cozy to be greeted by name as a regular (which i am).

features local art too. i plan to be a frequent visitor to this cafe. it's owners are committed to serving locally grown, organic food. on my first visit, i tried the 100th monkey sandwich with a greek salad and was pleased with both. the mmmocha is heavenly. the physical space is welcoming and the walls feature works from local artists. perhaps because it's still new, the service is a little slow, so if you're in a hurry, you might wait until you can take your time to really enjoy this place.
