our go-to place. we've been going here since it opened. the service is attentive and friendly. the food is dependably good. i love the reuben with the home made sauerkraut and i love the moon burger with the caramelized onions. ltc usually gets either the taco salad or the lamb sandwich. we both love their caesar salad. they usually have great specials too. i love their wild mushroom pasta but what's finally prompting me to write a review was the oyster po'boy sandwich i had for dinner tonight. amazing! the oysters were cooked to perfection and the bread was just the right amount of chewy! i'll definitely go back for this!

lousy service and mediocre food. went to the two seven since the tap house had a wait. it was a little busy but not a full house, took a few minutes to get our drink order taken but not a big deal. beverages arrived in a timely fashion and we placed our dinner order. my plate wasn't quite i had envisioned and my companion's mu shu burger had way too much hoisin sauce on it. after food arrived we didn't get any more service until the check was brought. sat through my entire meal with an empty beer bottle and nothing else to drink. server never came back to check if our food was okay or if we needed anything else.

won't be returning to this place at all....

just great!. i love going to the two seven! my mom and i meet for drinks and its usually a great meeting place for my friends and i. i typically like to go there for drinks because the food is average but the waiters/bar tenders are awesome! they know me by name and are so nice. its a great place to go after work or even on a nice summer day. everything i love about a restaurant/bar is at the two seven!

food was superb. portion was generous as to the potato salad. the lamb burger was also good. but both recipes need some work. the potatoes salad was chunky but bland. the burger needs some veggies/condiment help. again things were tasty but need a nudge. now as to service. our waitress was very good.

love the two seven... the corn pasta salad is as addictive as crack and my personal favorite is the cuban sandwich. haven't had a bad meal and there is always seats open. don't let the limited decore scare ya i'd rather good food than a tgifridays eye fest.

too expensive. few healthy choices.. i ordered the moon burger and asked for an extra patty. they charged me an extra $4. i didn't want any form of potato with the burger so i asked if i could substitute a side salad. they charged me $3, for lettuce! lettuce is $3 more expensive than potatoes?

no wonder americans are so fat.

great food and drinks. went here last night and really enjoyed food, beer, and atmosphere! blackened chicken quesadilla.

decent food. decor and comfort need help. same owners and same menu as the elk, but some dishes just don't come out quite the same. the chicken caesar wrap was good and very generous served with their corn pasta. tried the smoked tomato ravioli and it was outstanding. nice fresh pasta, great not-to-creamy sauce with a pesto drizzle. large portion. great prices. this place is bigger, has easier parking. but the colonial wood chairs and tables are ugly and uncomfortable. this place is as dirty as the elk,  messy with lots of junky areas. good location and the food is okay.

fabulous. this pub has a definite neighborhood feel to it. everyone is friendly and very customer-conscientious. the menu offers a diverse line-up even for the master pub-crawler. if it's a streamlined education in micro brews that you seek, the knowledgeable bartenders are very accommodating. the family-friendly (however no children's menu) pub has an outstanding patio, separate adult-beverage area(full-bar), and sensible prices.

bizarro world. as far as i could tell, it's the exact same menu as the elk... but somehow not quite as good. it was like a bad imitation, which would be bad enough had it not been the same owners and whatnot. i'm all for places branching out, extending their brand, etc. but the exact same terribly designed menu?! respect for the elk franchise took a hit, especially learning it's apparently trying to literally be made a franchise (lol?).

won't go back. if you want to eat at the elk, go to there. it's the same menu, only good. which, interestingly, kinda proves it takes more than a menu and recipe to make food good... gotta hire a good cook too, guys.

i liked it better the first time.... when it was called "the elk". stolen david spade lines aside, the two seven is decent. good vibe. decent food and drinks. maybe it's just me, but all the restaurants under the elk management group are very similar and nothing too special.

really good bloody marys!. seriously, if you want a bloody mary, get it here. they use clamato, which i prefer, and they're nice and strong! the food is also quite good. the rueben is my favorite, with the corn pasta of course. good-natured waitstaff, pleasant atmosphere, nice patio.
