the gravy is go!. i woke up this morning with a wicked hankering for some b & g. i just had the biscuits and gravy platter and man did it hit the spot, and some! delicious buttery and doughy biscuits topped with a thick creamy sausage gravy. man, ooh man, i am one satisfied dude. don't let the guy who ordered a gyro in a place known for breakfast (common sense?) or the other guy that doesn't see the heinz ketchup or smuckers jelly in front of him sway you, this place does breakfast and burgers extremely well.

we had heard a lot of good things about this place.  we also heard that since they moved to their new location that it wasn't the same as it was before.  we went on a saturday morning and waited 45 minutes for a table.  once we were seated we were promptly served and got our food without a long wait.  unfortunately, the food was very simple.  there was nothing that really stood out or made it special.  it wasn't bad by any means but it wasn't great.  given the long wait and the average food i doubt that we will go back.

i ordered a steak and eggs medium. my steak came out and we had two issues: it was overcooked to medium well and it seemed to be less than the usual ounces despite reassurances. the waitress was awesome but this place has gone downhill since moving down the street. i am very wary, but not trashing the place.

horrible service, horrible food, i won't go back. the owner is rude. ordered the fried chicken it came out with feathers still on the bird's wing. not hard for the cook to have plucked the remaining feathers.

i don't understand the hype surrounding this place. like the other reviewer mentioned, the food is terribly mediocre. i had a potato pancake breakfast. the potato pancakes were definitely not homemade and looked and tasted institutional. when the highlight of the breakfast was the rye toast, that says something. i spent ten dollars on something i could have very easily made at home in an even faster time. i'd rate this place a 3 but i found the server's attitude off-putting. just because the place is busy is no excuse to treat a customer like you have no time, even if you really don't. so 2.5.

best oviedo restaurant. best breakfast around -- i love almost everything i get there from the pitas to the biscuits and gravy to the chili cheese omelettes. service is friendly and personable, they're fast and efficient, and with the severe lack of really good places to eat in oviedo, this fills the need. i've gone here ever since i went to oviedo high and my dad used to drive me here before school started, and i'm sure i'll be coming here for years to come.

horrible. will never go back again. my husband and i just went for our first and last time.
too pricey for not enough food. we got charged for things that we were not told were extra. the manager was rude.

home town diner. we've not had anything bad yet. i think it gets a lot of hype for no reason but it's not bad. good breakfast but keep your expectations realistic and you won't be disappointed.

my favorite breakfast there is the hash and eggs with home fries while my husband loves the omelettes. while i have moved away now from oviedo, it is still on my must-do list whenever i visit friends in the area. my kids are always amused at the "oviedo chickens" running around outside in town square which only just adds to the small town charm of oviedo, fl and the town house restaurant.

i am so glad to have this nearby!. where to start? the ambiance is one of casual, homestyle, small town dining. the menu is a combination of american with greek cousine. the service is good, but they are often busy, this is a popular restaurant for the locals. there is a little bit of everything in the menu. their honey fried chicken and seasoned fries are just heavenly, i never get tired of eating them. their steak and shrimp combo is great, and they serve you a lot. breakfast is also amazing, especially their biscuits, gravy, omellets, and combos. i could go on but is one of those things that you have to try it yourself. highly recommended!

getcha some good food!. town house is great. it has a hometown diner feel, which barely exists anymore these days, yet the food is excellent. the gyros are great, the fried chicken is great, as are the chicken and biscuits. pretty much everything they make is great. on top of that, they have daily specials which you can get off their facebook feed which they keep updated frequently. hands down, one of the best places to eat in oviedo.
