i had a very disappointing experience here. the food was quite good. the staff member who served us was very rude and unkind to my disabled son however. i received the impression that this cafe is not accepting of children orpeoplewith disabilities. this will put me off going there again. our food ( 2 slices/ cakes) took a long time to arrive as well - at least 20 mins. discriminatory, rude staff and very slow service (despite the fact that there were several staff members who appeared to be standing around chatting) describe my experience here. i also received the impression that the staff didn't think we were "cool" or "trendy" enough to be customers at their cafe.

great atmosphere, people, coffee and service. i love what these wonderfulpeopleare doing! hopefully that can come and eat at our restaurant sometime soon:) east st vegetarian, nelson.
