bone marrow pasta! must order. one of the best italian restaurants i have ever dined at! especially love the bone marrow pasta .. amazing. the food good and service normal. the restaurant is however quite dim, but this could be suitable for a date/anniversary.


the only downside is cakage is like $5 per head which is a little annoying.

pendolino is my favourite italian restaurant in sydney. it never fails to impress on a great selection of entrees & mains. i always order everything to share as i don't want to miss out on anything. the fresh pasta with any type of ragu' is delicious & there's always a lovely drop of red to match perfectly!

the service is always professional.

it is a little on the dark side but that's very nice for a more intimate meal as opposed to a larger group.

i will continue to return to pendolino for hopefully many years to come but generally only for a special occasion as it is a touch on the pricey side. well worth it for a birthday treat!

the food and settings are nice. i like especially their bread basket with three different olive oils. services and staff manner is good too.

two visits to pendolino and both times the food has been excellent. service is a little too restrained however the ambience and experience makes up for it particularly if a little romance is the order of the day.

managed a last minute booking sitting out on the terrace. the service was attentive, although at times a little too much. food was delicious, without being too rich or too much. my biggest problem was choosing what to have as so many sounded appetising. thoroughly enjoyed this meal.

love everything here at pendolino. the food, the service, the ambience.. however price is more on the pricy side. but definitely worth it as they made all the pasta fresh in house from scratch using organic egg yolks 😅 my favorite was the spinach and cheese ravioli with burnt butter and sage. the mushroom pappardelle was amazing too.

all of our choices were beautiful. lovely dinner and good service! great table as we requested in the front of the restaurant. well worth a visit.

top notch. after stumbling across this place when in town alone on a work trip,i decided to come here with my partner when on holiday.
service was great,wine list exceptional,and the food was traditional but executed to perfection.
they are not trying to rewrite the rules here but do simple italian with top ingredients and do it very well.
recommend 8/10

amanda. cannot speak highly enough of pendolino. it's hard to try other choices on the menu when the first experience you have you seem to keep going back to... however the more you experience the more you love...
today i had the tagliatelle di farro con ragu di guancia di maiale all’ aglianico - fresh tagliatelle with pork cheek, pork belly and aglianico red wine ragu - absolutely divine and i can actually say that it was probably the best pasta dish i have ever had...

wow. this place is a must!. looking for a place to celebrate my anniversary and can honestly say urbanspoon did not let me down. i'm not going to say more other than give this place a go and leave with a smile.

nino continues excellence. pendolino is a masterpiece. the knodel is purely my single favourite dish i have ever tasted. anywhere. a proper dining experience, one cannot simply express a knowledge of great italian in sydney without having eaten here.
