... now, on to more good eats… next up on my list of truly fun surprises in nashville, breakfast atpfunkygriddle... my friend heather from gluten-free cat wrote aboutpfunkygriddle was back in 2011 when she lived in nashville.  her recommendations have always steered me right and this one is proof!

wonderful. i love thepfunkygriddle, the food is amazing, i just am in love with the chicken salad, i could eat that every day and night. i think it is an amazing place to eat.

we were on our way through town and found thepfunkygriddle on urban spoon. kids loved it. my wife and i loved it. great food great atmosphere.

sure, i can make my own eggs, pancakes, and biscuits but that's not why you go to thepfunkygriddle. you go for the experience (and no prep-time)! my kids loved it! i do wish they had a bigger bathroom. waiting in the middle of the restaurant for the bathroom was kind of a put-off but, honestly, that's really minor!

yum. i've got to thank a special friend for introducing me to thepfunkygriddle! thank you becca!! i positively love breakfast food, but little did i know that i'd be meeting my friend at a "griddle
your own pancakeiddle" place. maybe i should have inquired, but had i asked additional questions, or had any extra requests about what i'd was or was not in the mood for... she may have ditched me. then again, if i was properly primed i'd have had a hay day making "silver dollar" and "mickey mouse" pancakes! instead i was plainly yearning for a sandwich. nbd. as you'll see below... wednesday nights are the time to go for pancakes. you can let a sandwich hit the spot until then, and that they do!

the good news about thepfunkygriddle is that you cook the food on a griddle that is built into your table. yep. you read that right. you cook your own pancakes, scramble your own, eggs, crisp up your own potatoes.
