the junkyard cafe

the service was horrible. after arriving for 25 mins no one came up or was around to help us.
then even after placing the order the winter forgot to punch in fries and that came at the end of finishing food.
also i hadordereda cocktail the glass had water stains and it was not pleasing to sip my drink from that.
even the service was so bad that no one actually cared because the place had a big groups so no one actually was taking notice of the group of three.

food:
the non veg platter was amazing everything was good only mutton was on the very dry side
margarita pizza was so horrible that the pizza sauce was like ketchup and it was very weird in terms of sweetness

nothing fancy about the cafe. they only had 2 variety of beers available. draught beer was not available. the food was tasteless. weorderedthai veg spring rolls which were really bad because the quality of oil seemed very cheap from its taste. also, they don't allow stag entry so plan accordingly. overall would not recommend this cafe.

junkyard cafe is one of the my favourite place in cp, i visited this place along with my friends.
this place is decorated with all junk item and would be pleased to see how creatively they have decorated whole restaurant,
along with unique decorations it has live music and dj which is more pleasing and you gets some mouth watering dishes,
we had variety of food, as its winter so weorderedthis time iordered veg junkyard special tom yum soup it had veggies and lemon flavour taste of the soup was good,
after that we had junkyard tandoori veg platter which had multiple options like broccoli, paneer tilka, dahi ke kababs/rolls, soya chaap and mushrooms, i loved everything, taste of these items with green chutney was really tasty and if you ask me to pick one thing from that platter i would highly recommend that dahi ke kababs/rolls it was totally different from other it was crunchy and very very tasty.

then we had spaghetti agli olio and veg spring rolls spaghetti was served with garlic bread and i liked it too, spring rolls was crispy and crunchy it was filled with veggies in it, i liked both of them,

in drink we had fresh watermelon juice it was fresh and refreshing, we also had butterscotch cold coffee and hazelnut cold coffee, i taste both of them and both were good in taste most importantly it wasn't sweeter in taste which i liked and both had their flavours.
agin i had great experience at the junkyard cafe, will be visiting here again and agin,

i don't write bad reviews generally but i m so disappointed with this place. food was cold , whatever we hadorderedwas cold and tasteless. it's okay if the prices are high but please match up to that with your quality.

a day to celebrate my anniversary day and we decided to celebrate with my husband and baby @junkyard cafe in cannaught place.....
i liked that they followed up covid protocols...
all the staff members were very humble and with a quick service...
we started with snacks of french fries , margerita pizza and amritsari fish tikka which were deliciously good.
then followed up with lunchordereddal makhani and butter chicken both our favourites with lacha parantha and garlic naan.
in drinksorderedwatermelon mocktail and lit .
and for sweet toothorderedbrownie with vanilla icecream... and it was super soft and yummmm...
all the menu delighted us and made our day ...
thank you @junkyard cafe for making our anniversary so good ...

junkyard cafe is a beautiful place in connaught place with the great ambience and delicious food wiyh huge sitting area . i went for a causual lunch there iorderedsome mocktails and cocktails followed by marghreta cheese pizza , fish tikka , butter chicken and dal makhani with lacha parantha.


in the end the hot chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice cream was lovely ...

its an highly recommended place to have have good time with family and friends ,food is just awesome with the great hospitality and humble staff, very economical place will go gain very soon .

food is not at par. it was cold.
less variety of food.

what ever we hadorderedwas cold and food was tasteless.
worst was the chicken platter.

i called the manager on the phone and asked him twice if draught beer was available and he said yes both times. i reached the bar and found out draught beer wasn't available. asked the staff to call the manager and the manager refused to meet me and i was told that he wasn't aware about the drinks' unavailability.

weordereda pizza, poppers and fries. all three sucked and we didn't finish even one dish. tasteless, undercooked, bland. the fries smelled of bad oil.

the washrooms are dim lit and had a broken door and a broken flush.

worst bar to visit... better to enjoy a sober night than get some drinks here.

food is good to be honest, environment is good, lot of sitting space, live performance , drinks were fantastic,orderedliit , martini and watermelon juice. but the off part is ac was not effective, late food services, very very loud music, very dull lighting almost drakness, food quantity was soo less and prices are quite lot.could have been better, can be improved.

i wish i could give them 0 rating, unfortunately, 1 is the least. first,we were given non ac sitting,even when sofas are empty, then even after asking, waiter didn't gave us water for 45 mins. then,at the end,they added 225 rupees extra of kingfisher ultra,which we hadn't ordered. after checking they deducted the same,quoting it as a mistake. weorderedchilli potatoes and pasta and it was huge disaster we found flies over the food. ordering maitai drink is the biggest mistake of my life,it was so so bitter and yuck in taste. actually, it should be named as junk, instead of junkyard cafe. it's no more a cafe,it's only junk,don't waste your money,time and effort going there.

the liit weorderedwas highly diluted... late service and poor ambience... not worth time and money.. food is average too...

i had visited the junkyard cafe for the first time and it was a good experience.the interiors were very good.spacious restaurant.i loved the food.i hadorderedhummus and pita bread and noodles..food was very tasty.the only feedback that i would like to give is to include more vegetarian options for vegetarians and increase helping of the food dishes.

my experience here was not at all good...
first of all the ac wasn't working when i visited... a big red flag in summers... even if we try and understand the situation still the main thing which was the food.. was not good either...
weorderedfour cheese pizza which was nice... but the mix sauce pasta and chilli garlic noodles were a disappointment...
pasta was really not good....

in drinks weorderedcitrus mart , minto plus and strawberry coconut shake...
minto plus was alright .. didn't really like citrus mart... shake was also just okay..
all in all i won't really visit the place again.

the service was not up to the mark. we had to call the waiter twice to take the order. weorderedbutter paneer which was like paneer in tomato puree and breads were served cold.
noodles were fine though. but worst paneer ever.

had a yummylicious treat at junkyard cafe. . food is awesome in taste. iorderedhoney chilli potato , paneer tikka, virgin mojito, iced tea .... the quantity was ok but as far as price is concerned it was good. i was served 5 pieces of paneer tikka in one dish plus 5 pieces in dahi ke kabab. the chutney with cigar shots or spring roll was delicious. would definitely visit again and recommend it to my friends and relatives
