the food and service is lovely here. it is a super busy cafe and they sell all sorts of delicious goodies from all day brekkie topancakesand hot dogs etc. lots of filling food for a decent price.

wandering main street gawler, trying to find something for breakfast/brunch, we happened along this place which was choc-a-block with locals. always a good sign. it’s cheap, servings are decent, unpretentious and it’s everything it promises to be. i had the large basic breakfast which was amazing value at $11 and we got three buttermilkpancakeswith butter and maple syrup which was a steal at $8.50 and a huge plate. would definitely return if ever in these parts again.

absolutely love java hut, perfect for breakfast, brunch, quick coffee catch up. anything! food is amazing, whether you prefer savoury or have a sweet tooth, java hut will not disappoint.pancakesare always a hit, definitely recommend!

when i went to the java hut it was very squished and smelt horrible, to many people! the decor was outdated and tacky. i got an iced coffee, it was very nice but definitely on the sweeter side. i got the bannana pancakes, thepancakeswere fluffy but the bananas ontop were soaked in fatty disgusting butter! ewww!! this ruined the whole meal. waiters are unfriendly and slow! would not recommend 🙁

best to book a table to avoid waiting as its extremely busy.
only down side it can get noisy and very hot in summer.
but other than that, it is a fantastic little all day breakfast destination.

gem in the middle of gawler. we found this place when we were driving around gawler looking for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. the 'big breakfast' for under $10 caught our eye as my friend always has that when it's on offer.

it's been interesting comparing the different ideas of what a big breakfast is. the java hut did not let us down. there was no half a sausage sitting forlorn wondering what happened to it's mate. the servings were generous.

today, we thought we'd go in and try the lunch menu (despite the fact their breakfast menu goes all day.) i opted for the savoury crepes. hours later my taste buds are still thanking me.

the only thing wrong was once again i forgot to ask for the entree size so it was a little too much for me. i took one bite of the salad and closed my eyes to savour it. i haven't had a salad that fresh in quite a while.

the customer service was great. always friendly and full of smiles.

but the prices here... amazing. highly recommend it to anyone who just wants good food for a good price in a good atmosphere.

it's a great place to stop for breakfast on your way out to the barossa, or on the way home from a day out wine tasting.

in our travels we've been to many places trying them all out. the java hut is the only place we've been back to twice.
