good dry rub ribs are hard to find. the pig delivers in spades. if you're expecting kc style. slathered insauceyou won't find it here. just an old carolina style done to perfection

keep looking. the quantity of meat was fine, but the sides were small. the prices were average but unfortunately the quality of food was poor. my pork was dry and they didn't have extra sauce. thesaucewas rather bland, neither sweet nor sour and no heat.

save yourself a wasted meal and try somewhere else. there are several better barbeque places nearby.

gross!!. this place serves the worst bbq i have ever had. i have tried many places that serve bbq and many bbq places. i had the brisket sliders and the meat was just horrible - very smokey tasting. we also had the brisket nachos. the meat ruined the nachos!! their bbqsauceis strange tasting. my husband ordered the ribs. he said they were the worst ribs he has ever had. ok the buns for my sliders were very tasty, but everything else was no good: the ranch beans, the baked beans, the coleslaw, the ribs... even my son's kid pizza was nasty! stay away!

awsome bbq!. love this place went here wednesday night (ladies night) live music from the band pheed was a great addition to the fantastic bbq. great crowd. had coca-cola taquitos, pork sliders with a great mustardsauceand plenty of cold beer see you next week! highly recommended.

great servoce. food good, cornbread wonderful! take brisket home with bbqsauceand make sandwiches at home (after you have eaten there).. service was wonderful!

spot on bbq. i had the sliders 1 pork 1 beef 1 chicken they came with nosaucewhich i like because i can taste the delicious smokey meat andsaucewhen i feel like it. the cornbread and hush puppies are great but i would like a little more sweet corn in the puppies. chili was huge chunks of meaty brisket goodness. the kitchen is up front at this location so you can watch them pull the meat from the smokers. brew was cold and reasonably priced i was out the door under 20 bucks with a couple of beers.

spoiled my birthday dinner. today was a big evening for me. • it was my birthday • i had just finished a 40-day eating plan that helped me lose 30 lbs. my treat big was a dinner out and it happened to also be my birthday dinner at the notorious p.i.g. on thunderbird. friends had visited your establishment and said the food was good. so, i thought i'd try it. after reviewing the menu, i ordered the $ 17.99 rack of ribs with the baked beans and corn on the cob sides and the sweet, corn bread. after waiting for 35 minutes, my waiter finally came back to my table and announced that my dinner was given to someone else. he asked if i would i like to wait for another slab of ribs. it would take only about 5 minutes. so, i said sure. he brought the ribs, baked beans and a few minutes later the corn on the cob. the ribs were good. the beans were very spicy. so spicy my mouth burned so much, i didn't enjoy the rest of the meal. granted i am not used to spicy food, but i did tell my waiter up front, and he assured me that my choices were not spicy. finally, the corn on the cob looked like it had been sitting on the shelf for 6 hours before it was brought out. i asked for a box, with which to take home the remaining ribs. a nice young man brought me that, since my waiter was no where to be found. finally, i asked for the check. also, asking if [the restaurant] took american express. i waited for the waiter to come back and pick up the credit card. and i waited, and i waited. finally, i put a $20 in with the bill and left. not one person asked how my meal was. the waiter apparently did not tell the manager what happened because i never saw the manager come over and ask me if there was something that could be done to adjust my bill. i know i don't like spicy food but i told that to the hostess at the desk when i walked in, prior to being seated at a table. she assured me the bbqsauceis not put on the ribs, and there is a non-spicysauceavailable, should i choose one. i have had ribs in the midwest and they were delicious. and my stomach did not hurt afterwards. the inside of my mouth did not feel like it was on fire. i don't go out much and $20 was a lot of money for something i did not enjoy. i should followed my initial instincts and gone to panda express.

im from the south. im sorry, ive eaten here 3 times to try to give it the benefit of the doubt, i want to like this place because its so close to my home and there arent any other bbq places close, but the only thing ive had here that i like was the pulled pork. the pork and ribs are decent, but thesauceis just lost. most of the sides are too 'artsy'. i have not had a good dining experience here yet. there are few enough bbq places here in phoenix and i think they are trying to find a gimmick instead of just concentrating on the basics of a good bbq dinner.

smoked bbq the way it should be. ive traveled far and near to taste different types of bbq and found i like a little something about each of the various styles. however, i must say that smoked bbq is my favorite and the food at this restaurant is among the best ive had. smoked yet moist and full of flavor. ribs sauced or not are great, hotsauceis excellent. look forward to my next trip.

great service. i recently stopped by the notorious p.i.g. to try it out. i must say, i was impressed. the service was outstanding. we were served by a nice young man named tory. he was new to arizona from the mid-west. his smile and enthusiasm was refreshing. we felt right at home, like we were eating at a friend's house. he made sure we had everything we needed before we could even ask for it. the food was also delicious. we had the ribs and french fries. the rub on the ribs and thesaucewere a perfect combination. the cornbread with honey delcious and the beans....just like mama's.
