great bbq. this was our first visit to the notorious p.i.g. what a treat. the flavor of the bbq was outstanding and all the meat and ribs were tender and tasty. the bbq sause (mild, medium and hot) was also very good and could meet anyones taste desires. the service was also friendly. hope people give this new restraunt a try. good luck.

don't know, never got to taste the food. we got there at 6:15, our waiter came to the table right away and was courteous enough, took our appetizer order of nachos and drinks, put them in and then came back to take our dinner order. they were alread out of brisket. at 7:00 we asked him to check on our appetizer order and he said it was still 20 minutes out. there were 6 orders ahead of us!! there were only 8 tables filled while we were there. we decided to pay for our drinks and leave, i talked to the owner on the way out and said we had been there 45 minutes and hadn't even gotten our appetizer order yet, she said they come up in order, i said, "well, we're hungary we're leaving" and she said "okay" didn't offer to see what the hold up was, didn't apologize, didn't offer a free drink to keep us there, nothing. with service like this, they won't stay open long, i don't think!

food good, service not. both of us had the brisket and it was good, not great.

service was questionable. they were out of sweet potato fries at 6pm??? the guy at the table next to us finally had to go up to the hostess and ask how he could get served after sitting at his table for 10 min. our server brought the wrong kind of cornbread and then questioned us like we were lying when we told him. he left us to eat the cornbread on paper towels when we say another server bring out plates with the cb. we waited forever to get our brisket and watched another table that came in considerably after us get served. he asked if we wanted refills half way through our meal. i know it's a little thing but just refill them, don't ask. then he asked if we wanted our check. i felt like telling him "no, after this experience it should be free". again, don't ask, just casually drop it and i'll pay it when we're ready.

all in all not a good experience but we'll give them another try after they've had time to outgrow their opening pains.

some great things, and some good things. denise and i went in there last night (friday the 8th). couldn't find a parking spot. in this neighborhood, that may not be such a bad thing. parked at jiffy lube, and walked over. place was packed.

cons- ran out of ribs at 7pm? how does this happen? a woman, who is obviously one of the owners, said they cooked a ton of food, and when it takes 16 hours to prepare, when you're out, you're out. i said ok. white walls in the place are simple, but seem a little out of the ordinary for bbq.

pros- i've never had brisket like this before! wow. service was more than adequate as they were very busy, and were obviously bogged down with "to go" orders. i will go back, because if the ribs are anything like the brisket, i'll become a regular (i'm a rib hound!) heard other tables compliment the ribs, so i think it will be a safe bet. just get there early!

great service. i recently stopped by the notorious p.i.g. to try it out. i must say, i was impressed. the service was outstanding. we were served by a nice young man named tory. he was new to arizona from the mid-west. his smile and enthusiasm was refreshing. we felt right at home, like we were eating at a friend's house. he made sure we had everything we needed before we could even ask for it. the food was also delicious. we had the ribs and french fries. the rub on the ribs and the sauce were a perfect combination. the cornbread with honey delcious and the beans....just like mama's.

omg delicious. my husband and i stopped by the new notorious p.i.g. restraunt at 32nd st and t-bird to check them out . . . wow . . . great food!!! we had the sampler plate and the 1/2 rack of ribs. the pulled pork and brisket were so moist, you just wanted to roll it around in you mouth to savor the taste. the smoked ribs were fantastic with or without additional sauce. the hush puppies and the cornbread are the best i have ever eaten: asked for honey to dip them in (heaven)!!! beans had chunks of meat in them (yummy). lots of fabulous food at such a reasonable price for the quality. i give them a rating of 5 stars; we will definitly be returning for a repeat performance *****
