food - 4.5/5
ambience- 4.5/5
the druid garden at sahakarnagar is an european style craft brew restaurant serving a wide range of global cuisines.
the location is not difficult to find, parking is available at ease during weekdays. i recommend to reserve a table before visiting to avoid waiting. the restaurant is spacious and friendly for all ages.
ambience:
there are 2.5 floors. one floor is indoor, half floor on a deck- an area for get togethers, one floor is a roof top.
experience:
the service is incredible. the staff are very friendly, very patient to listen and suggest, the staff is very trained on every dish in the menu and most of all, they know the right serving techniques.
beer:
there are 6 types of beer.
hefeweizen, drunkelweizen, czech pilsner lager, bohemian drunkel, rauchbier, imperia stout, indian pale ale,
hefeweizen beer is the one i chose. very soothing on the palate and easy flowing beer.
food:
we ordered:
non veg:
1. pumpkin prawns - it was a recommended dish. the prawns were of big size, almost the size of tiger prawns. the flavour of the pumpkin on the prawns merged really well and it gave a sweet juicy flavour with a feel of the crunchyness of the meat.
it was so good that we ordered totally 3 plates.
2. chicken wings - bbq sauce. - the pieces were big and meaty. but it needed more of the bbq sauce and was very bland.
3. chicken steak - it is a meal for 1 person with 2 big piece of chicken legs, vegetables and mashed potato.
the presentation of this dish was good. the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. the meat was very soft, juicy and tender. would recommend it.
4. tenderloin steak - it is a meal for 1 person too but if you are a good eater, you can have 2 plates of similar portions. it had 3 small pieces of tenderloin meat, dry and the sauce added the flavour to the meat. the vegetables were crunchy. potato wedges were good.
vegetarian.
1. cheese corn bake: the presentation is very good. if you are a cheese lover, it is a must have dish. an extra dose of pepper makes the dish more relishable.
2. 4 cheese pizza: this has blue cheese. the duid garden has its own bakery. the pizzas are a must to have on the menu. the base of the pizza was super fresh and made the pizza more delicious.
3. paneer tikka lababdar - i must say, the paneer quality was premium. very soft and filled with flavours. softness of paneer made me remind of delhi.
overall, theexperiencewas amazing and is a must visit place. i would definitely go back for the beer and try other dishes too.
