as you settle in the view of the golf course at the wynn hotel catches your eye. but as soon as you greeted by the staff you know a treat is about to come. the menu is great with all kinds of choices. i had the bison, it was fabulous. but make sure and save room. the deserts will absolutely amaze you. this place is fantastic completely. located in the wynn hotel make it a priority on your next trip to vegas

this was worth pushing the boat out for. discreetly positioned at the back of the wyn hotel, the restaurant has an old country manor feel, dark wood, sumptuous furnishings and wonderful, sweeping views of the golf course and waterfalls beyond - not a neon light in sight. the service, food and choice were first class. huge, ridiculous cuts of meats (fortunately you could order one portion and split it) cooked to your preference, perfectly, with accompanying sides. creamed corn, spinach with almonds, potatoes cooked numerous ways - each one as mouthwatering as the next. the puddings were equally as good. we opted for cheesecake - it didn't disappoint. there's no point visiting this place if you're watching your weight or are strapped for cash, the food is big, hearty and delicious, but it comes at a price. if you can, go for it, it won't disappoint.

after days of searching for a restaurant to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, i finally settled on this establishment. i was so excited for him to see how beautiful this place is and to experience this seemingly amazing restaurant.

i chose this restaurant because of the golf course feel since my boyfriend is an avid golfer and because he loves steakhouses. i figured this was a great retreat from the normal vegas feel.

the atmosphere was very relaxing and romantic however our server is another story. from the second he greeted us he was rude and spoke to us as if we were children. yes, we were probably the youngest couple around (we are in our mid 20s and early 30s) but that doesn't mean we needed to be talked down to. the server was rude, arrogant and just did not seem to want to deal with us.

in our opinion, the place is overpriced and the service was the worst we had the whole time we were in vegas. with so many other options around, we will not return.

the appetizers were great. however, the steak and halibut were not very good (cooked improperly) and the service was average. so many other great places in vegas. we will not be back.

i have only been there for lunch, but it has been without flaw every time. i like the fact you can go fine dining or club sandwich. the wines of the day can be a little iffy, but the view if bad golfers is amusing. gracious service.

pretentious and expensive. we were very disappointed in this restaurant.
we went early, because we had a 7 o'clock show at the wynn (le reve). we went to the restaurant at 5:30. with no one in the restaurant, just a few people at the bar, with all the servers standing around, they took well over 10 minutes to seat us.
we both had the wagyu flat iron steak. i've had better top sirloin at home. at $59 for the steak, i was expecting a lot more quality. i don't know if it was wagyu, but i have my doubts.
glasses of wine, even very low end, were $17 - $20 a glass. i can buy that same wine as a whole bottle or that price.
the view was nice. but the restaurant is pretentious, and the food just doesn't live up to trying to be fine dining and these prices.
we went to fleur the next day and gladly paid similar prices for far superior food.

surprisingly good for dinner. the first time i went here i ordered the sesame encrusted tuna. it sits in a "foam" bath (which i'd never heard of before) and is to die for... this dish has to be one of the best things i've ever put in my mouth. i highly recommend it, even if it seems like a long walk from the encore - it's well worth it.

excellent food, priced accordingly. the country club is everything one would expect from a high-end restaurant at the wynn. elegant and understated, with views of its highly exclusive golf course and a staff which knows how to cater to its patrons. but enough of that, how's the food?

the food is excellent. we dined near closing, but the kitchen still provided two excellent creole-spiced bison rib eye steaks, served medium-rare, precisely as ordered. our server informed us that the chef, who hails from new orleans, was serving au-gratin potatoes mixed with andouille sausage as part of one of the specials. when asked, she allowed us to order these as one of our side dishes. beyond delicious. the creamed corn, with apple-smoked bacon was also excellent, and i generally do not care for creamed corn.

dessert was pleasant and well-done. the coffee? the coffee was superb. the best i've had, yet, in las vegas. no, seriously. i lived in the pacific northwest for nearly fifteen years and tend to cringe at most restaurant coffee. our server informed us, when asked, that steve wynn personally selects the coffee for his gourmet restaurants himself. if that's the case, mr. wynn definitely knows his coffee.

pricing is what you'd expect for the wynn, for this class of food. if you can get dinner comped, all the better. in any case, the food, the service, the atmosphere and definitely the coffee are all exceptional. a restaurant well worth visiting.

love it. the country club is by far my favorite breakfast in vegas. the view is lovely, it looks on to the golf course and the food is fabulous. i spent the day watching the superbowl here a few years ago and enjoyed the staff all day.

so good we went twice. my husband and i dined here twice over thanksgiving weekend. we had dinner the night before thanksgiving and the sunday brunch after thanksgiving.

for dinner, my husband and i shared the country club's version of caprese. they were nice enough to split it in the kitchen (without even asking) and delivered it to us on two separate plates. the bocconcini was delicious.

for dinner, i had the brown sugar brined pork chop. the picture of it on their website made my mouth water before we even arrived. the pork did not disappoint. it was tender and had a smokey flavor. instead of the prescribed corn succotash, i had the creamed corn. the creamed corn, as mentioned by other reviewers, is divine.

my husband ordered the free range chicken. the chicken was crispy on the out side and juicy on the inside. it was delicious!

when we ordered, our server commented that even though they are a steakhouse and have fantastic steaks, the pork and chicken dishes are amazing. i respect the honesty of any server that will recommend a less expensive dish.

for dessert, we had the chocolate bombolone. they were warm and chocolaty but surprisingly light. our server gave us instructions not to cut them open as the chocolate squirts out. as soon as i bit into the first one, i began to heed his warning and chew carefully with my mouth shut tightly. it's like a chocolate explosion in your mouth.

when we went back for jazz sunday brunch, we were equally pleased with our experience. in addition to the buffet, there is a menu of small plate items to order from. these items are included in the set price for the brunch. from the menu, we sampled the french toast bread pudding and grilled beef hot dog. this hot dog was no small plate. it was huge and delicious, as other reviewers have noted.

as far as meats from the buffet, we enjoyed the creole rubbed shrimp, herb roasted turkey breast, king crab legs (cut in half lengthwise for tactful and easy eating) and more brown sugar brined pork tenderloin. the beef tenderloin left a lot to be desired. it was rubbery and flavorless. they had mini-hamburgers which were very good and a surprising treat. for sides, we enjoyed the heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad (although it needed some extra balsamic as it didn't seem to have any), grilled vegetables, assorted salami's and cheeses. all were delicious. for dessert, we had peppermint macaroons (parisian kind, not the coconut kind), candied apples, eclairs and mini cookies. there is a huge variety offered at this brunch. the views, food and service are all spectacular. this must be a dining stop on your gastronomic tour of las vegas.

great views. relaxing atmosphere. this is truly a hidden treasure at wynn, tucked away near the villas and with gorgeous views of the golf course.

a nice, american classic-based lunch menu with a nicely stocked bar. attentive wait staff and a nice way to spend the afternoon engaged in good conversation over a non-fussy meal.

great sandwiches. their turkey sausage is a revelation.

great food with a view. this was a recent business lunch for me with a good friend. a beautiful room with a great view of the famous golf course and waterfall, and a good selection of food and libation.

we came without reservation and were accommodated very quickly after a short stay at the bar and a free cocktail. our lunch was delicious. chef lenger is a wizard.
