the coffee shop

the food here was tasty and fresh. really liked the pizza, fresh lime soda, baked skin potato & garlic bread. thestaffis very courteous and the ambiance is really nice. a nice cozy place for a cup of coffee.
avoid the frappe (somehow didn't like it much).

other than that..this place definitely gets a thumbs up from me 😀

the place is located on mg marg and in my opinion one of the must try places if you have the budget. the prices are a bit on a higher side compared to other cafés/ restaurants in the area but having said that the portion size is adequate for 2 adults. the place has an outdoor seating area as well which is my choice of place if i’m visiting this cafe. and, yes thestaffare very courteous.

we went for a quick afternoon bite. food was good and thestaffcourteous… good place to visit on a lazy afternoon.. they do have a vast stretch of menu.

we went to the coffee shop yesterday..staffwas polite.. they served warm water which felt so good .. we ordered hot chocolate and cinnamon coffe. the service is fast... only thing i didn't like much is the excessive froth.. overall a wonderful experience

it's a quite nice cozy place. they serve a lot of dishes and the pricing is at par with every other restaurant or pub in the area. they have a little balcony section from where you can see the mg marg. music is played at soft volume which suits the ambiance.
the ambiance is great, service is quick and thestaffare extremely courteous and gentle.
i had visited with my family........ tried a variety of coffee..... hazelnut.... vanilla..... chocolate....
also tried some cakes and sandwich...
i loved this place and i'll definitely going there again when i'm in gangtok..

last year i visited this place during the holi holidays and it was a rainy day. when i entered the shop thestaffwas very polite and humble. the ambience of the place was just perfect with a friendly environment and a good balcony view. they had a good variety on the menu. i have ordered a hot cafe mocha and it was awesome 😍

let me start with the ambience. this coffee shop has a good ambience. thestaffare very courteous.

coming to food, we started with coffee. coffee was good. next we had ordered the chicken lasagna and it blew my mind. the cool breeze in the balcony paired with the hot lasagna was the perfect food for the evening . the quality is quite optimum for 2 person.
we were full with the lasagna and wanted to have some dessert.
we started off with the cheese cake and apple pie (i exactly don't remember the name now) . the apple pie was better than the cheese cake. this place have many more dessert options but they get sold out so we were not left with much options to try .

they have a hugh range of coffee, tea and smoothie to choose from. overall the coffee shop is a good place for hangout and delicious food while you are at gangtok.

polite and friendlystaffthey serve with a smile you get good italian food pizza is best i have had so far great place to be in here ... good place to be with family and friends.. wannabe come again and again and again, pasta and butter prawns are amazing ... the bakery serves good fresh chocolate muffins and above all the rum ball was amazing .. you have all the beverages you want from coffee to alcohol just too good ..

very good experience comming to gangtok in the coffee shop..

really poor service. we gave explicit instructions multiple times to get our coffee after the food however they still got the coffee before our meal started. in fact there was so much delay in preparing few items that we had to leave without eating it and asked them to cancel the items.staffdoesn’t care about service standards at all.
that said, the ambience of the place is nice and food had a decent taste so 2 stars for that.

best breakfast in town. beef lovers don't miss out the himalayan breakfast. mocktails were also good. full marks for the courteousstaff& great ambience.

it’s mid-october and the place is already bursting at the seams almost through the day.

situated in new market, it’s a lovely place to find in gangtok city center, with a warm & welcoming ambience. seating on one side of the cafe offers a view of the market through huge glass windows and thestaffis super friendly and eager to make it a pleasant experience.

we ordered only vegetarian fare and by far this was the only decent meal we had in this area.

margarita pizza - it was okay-ish, base wasn’t extra crisp as requested.
grilled veg sandwich - nice & light for a quick bite.
veg burger - it was simple but a decent burger.
hazelnut coffee, mocha cold coffee & cold coffee blast were all good.

we enjoyed most of the stuff and would try and return to sample some more stuff before leaving the city.
