where would i have gone to if not for this place in agra. they have a superb menu and amazing ambience. the rooftop space has added to it's already prevalent charm. one of the best places to chill out in agra.

the ambience is a but over the top and too many elements. they have tried a bit too much to make it look cool.

but to our surprise the food was the redeemer. almost everything we ordered tasted good. the dimsums, pizza and indian platters was great.


service is on the slower side. but in agra, considering the lack of great stand alone restaraunt's. its not a bad pick for food.

one of the very few cafes in agra - much needed in the city full of tourists!

truly a great ambience - especially the terrace seating. personally, for me, it is an amazing lunch place.

good music (youtube playlist though, but a good one).
a lot of flies around the table though. we had to cover our order with napkins to keep them away.

one quite peculiar and extremely innovative thought was that the tables were fit with a remote for service. there were button to call the waiter, bill and service! impressive !

coming to food, we ordered:
oreo shake, corona beer, veg pasta, khas seekh kebab and hukka

oreo shake - it was good, more of chocolate flavour than oreo, a lil too sweet for me. but the staff was kind enough to add more milk to normalise the sugar.

beer - the beer was not chilled, though the staff tried to get the coldest of the lot. yet it wasn't as chilled as expected!

veg pasta (pink sauce) - the penne pasta is well cooked.. nice italian flavours more on the arrabiata side. good though! (y)

khas seekh kebab - these are mutton and cheese kebabs as on menu - great on flavours but a lil too hard for kebabs (i did not expect the karim's level, but a lil more softness would make them perfect) 👌🏼

hukka - this was the best thing on table. we ordered paan raas - my all time fav ! it was perfect! the service remote also ensured that we get the coals instantly! kudos to that! 👍🏼

the only spoiler was the bill time! so here's the bummer -
on zomato, the restaurant mentions 15% off on axis bank credit n debit cards. however, the manager seems to be unaware of any such thing. they started cooking up silly stories (like its valid for axis bank employees and that the discount is offered by zomato, not chapter 1) to cover up their ignorance.

this really spoiled the experience overall as the manager was simply unaware of what's put up on his own zomato page. quite amusing though.

having said that, the manager gave some courtesy discount after a good 15-minute long explanation (though totally in vain)

this has dropped my rating from 4 to 3, otherwise the restaurant deserves a visit.
hopefully it would be taken care of, by the chapter 1 team in future.

ideal place for chilling out over food and drinks.they have an innovative menu with an interesting ambience. try their pasta in thai green curry and their pizzas too have a lot of variety. head to chapter 1 cafe if you want to experiment with food and enjoy good music and chilled out ambience.

agra being such a small city and with very limited options to go out and chill. i think chapter1 is definitely one of those best place to chill in a city like agra. i usually go there every weekend with friends. hookah, snacks, drinks and ambience everything is good and ofcourse their special nights with live singing and dj nights it creates a whole lot of amazing experience.

this cafe is a rooftop cafe. you can simply enjoy the ambience at any time of the day for breakfast or late evening snacks & drinks. it's very close to the taj mahal & perfect place to satisfy your hunger with delicious food.

we sat on the rooftop here. while the place was decently nice especially for a wintery evening, the food wasn't so. i just tried their fish and chips which were average in taste. the service was a little slow and except for one staff, the others seemed disinterested.

chapter 1 : the most pathetic place one can be. today i went for lunch with my friends n we ordered for a few soups n then some starters like veg mushroom , paneer kaati roll , veg nachos and veg dimsums... we asked the waiter to get the starters to be served once we finish with our soup but he carelessly started bringing the starters one by one... when he kept two starters at our table we again asked him to get the other two later . again he repeated the same thing n started serving us the katti rolls, without saying anything we started eating it and then with a shock that the rolls he served is chicken rolls.. we called the waiter to ask him that why did he do that , firstly he was not even ready to admit that it was a non veg dish but then when we showed the food to him properly and said that we know it is non veg thn after he admitted... we knew that it was not intentional but atleast as a courtesy one should apolozise nicely but on the contrary he took it all with an arrogance. then we had a word with the manager n understanding the situation he asked to clear it n get us new plates n serve again. after all this happened they served us the remaining starters cold n we asked the waiter he said this is maximum hot we can do.... we again called the manager n he again asked to change it but it was yet very tastless n cold. we paid the full amount of the food and came back. overall it was a mood spolier for us and i would recommend you all not to go to such places were they take the customers for granted and show no respect to them.

went there a couple of months back.
service was not at all impressive.
food quality is just average.
interiors are nicely done but still lacks the aura.

in short its over rated, over hyped and considering the above, its overpriced as well..!!

overrated place . as there is no place for teenagers and youth to hangout, people tend to like this. food options are many but the portion is not enought as compared to the price they offer . ambience is tend to make good but they don't serve rooftop sometimes whatever may the reason be. they have alcohol in their menu but don't serve most of the time.

went here recently during diwali with cousins coz we heard that it's one of the newest cool places to hang out in agra. we decided to sit upstairs in the open terrace area, but seems like there was some issue in how the seating is managed. about half the restaurant was empty but we were not given a good place to sit, because apparently all the tables were reserved. but surprisingly no one came to those for about 45-50 mins of being vacant, and later they were given to some other group which was already sitting somewhere else.
the table we got had a grill bang in the centre, and given that it was too big for us, we couldn't talk or share food.
coming to the service, it was just so slow that we got our drinks when we were nearly done with our starters. the waiters always seemed to talk to each other and came to the table when you gestured towards them for some 5-6 times.
when the food came, we were already losing interest in this place. we got the margherita pizza, farm fresh pizza, cheese nachos and quesadillas. the food was average if you've had those in delhi ncr outlets etc. but for agra, it was decently good and can be had occasionally.
the litchi mocktail we got was good too.
however, overall this place disappointed and needs to improve in a lot of areas.

located on the second floor and rooftop of the building this restaurant is easy to spot and has good interiors.
coming to the food, we requested for a plain risotto and the chef was happy to cook it. the risotto was close to a perfect risotto (very difficult to perfect this dish). it had the right amount of balance between the cheese and the rice. the fajita was another good dish. at first it looked like paneer bhurji but it tasted good. tue paneer was soft and nicely cooked. the burger was amazing. it reminded me of the restaurants located in kala ghoda, mumbai which are known for their burgers and sandwiches. the garlic bread and nachos were good and the french fries were as they should be, crisp.
two drinks specially caught my attention the kit kat shake and apple cinnamon drink, which was just like the cold version of the famous kawa which you get in kashmir.
the service was great. this restaurant is a must try if you are in agra.

nice place with perfect ambience for youngsters.. now we can say we have the place where you can hangout and chill yourself with great mocktails..
