this place has more character! the old flooring still exists. the un-plastered walls and the old fireplace add to the atmosphere. the food was overwhelming - too much of fries but the burger was great. and again, the black liquid was as good as it gets anywhere! i only wish they didn’t have those caged birds at the bar.

this bar was next to our hotel celtic lodge, location is very main center, ambience was great, staff was very nice. had couple of times heineken from here.

local que nos foi recomendado pelo ambiente num ponto turístico.
infelizmente já tínhamos comido mas fomos beber um copo, e o ambiente foi exactamente como nos tinham indicado, pouco turístico  com excelente musica ao vivo.
pessoas de todas as idades, literalmente (uma criança que não teria mais de 5 anos) a divertirem-se com um atendimento bastante bom.
pedimos cervejas indicadas e uma não foi do nosso agrado mas foi automaticamente substituída e não foi cobrada

awesome food and staff, although the drinks were always a bit late, everything is so cozy and delicious that you don’t even bother with that.

i got to admit i was pretty impressed with the food here. i've been here few times for a drink, but never try the food. since it's the same kitchen for the hotel's restaurant and the pub, it's a traditional cook with generous portions and a good value.

if you want to have the traditional irish pub experience then this is the right place! it is a cozy location although it is very big, has great food, drinks and music. the live music is fantastic, really makes you want to sing along and dance! waiters are nice and charismatic. in a 5 day trip to dublin i went twice to this place. the last night i had dinner there and tried the soup of the day which was very tasty and makes just an awesome combination with the brown bread! also ate a goat cheese salad and an irish stew which were very good. i definitely recommend this place to eat, drink, dance and have fun!

the place is cozy and warm. waiter is funny and prestative. the music at weekends is specially nice. i totally recommend the celt, is my favorite pub in dublin until now.

traditional irish pub, homemade food and jolly local tunes. friendly service and friendly atmosphere. tried the traditional irish stew, would recommend.
