haven't had food here, only visited for drinks. its ok but extremely expensive for no obvious reason. tends to attract a somewhat yuppy crowd that i'm not sure adds anything to the place. its fine for abeerthough i wouldn't stay for a session there (too expensive).

excellent selection of beers and ciders both on draught and bottled, equally excellent staff behind the bar. very friendly, accommodating, happy to chat. the selection of drink is changed up regularly which is a huge plus; there's always something new to sample. any craftbeerlovers; this is the place to be. there's a stack of board games to be ravaged and great music always playing; it has a casual and relaxed atmosphere. i've sampled the food on occasion and it is also very good pub grub; i have yet to risk attempting the kilo of spicy wings they have on offer!

i ate here with a group from work and we were delighted to find their new €8 lunch menu: the steak burger was particularly good. thebeeris the real draw though and they have a great selection of craft beers on offer, both bottled and draft.

given that my boyfriend has a slight obsession with craftbeerthis gem just around the corner from us has become one of our favourite pubs for a casualbeer.. the staff are by far some of the friendliest i've come across in dublin. it is clear that they have a passion forbeerand want to share their knowledge with the customers! i love how you get to sample all the different kinds ofbeerand there is absolutely no pressure to buy thebeerif you don't like it - you can just buy another type. the vibe of the pub is also always lively and full of all different nationalities! you could be anywhere in the world! 👍 the menu is also tasty and just the kind of food you're looking for after a couple of ipas!!!

brew dock is another one of the galway bay brewery bars, and up their with the best. thebeeris unsurprisingly awesome, with about 15-20 beers on draught and a decent bottle selection, the brew dock is great. it's also one of my favourites because its the least busy of all the pubs and has a more relaxed atmosphere as a result. come in before hopping on a train from connolly or a bus from busaras.
