the blu bar

had the distinct pleasure of being invited to the launch party of this great restobar situated near balewadi stadium. as the name suggest the theme is blue and it has a instagrammable extrance which opens into a vast open tentedseatingarea. this then open out to a live stage with an interactive led screen and a live band. there is an open airseatingarea in front of the stage which has a tentedseatingarea to one side and a spectacular blue lit bar to the other. they have an amazing amount of cocktails, mocktails and other drink choices that will leave you wanting more. the also have an indoor hall with great lighting for parties. we had chicken tikka, chicken malai and chicken manchurian along with their paneer versions. also served a very tasty chicken and paneer biryani. in desert we had some classic gulab jamun all the while listen to some foot thumping music from the live band and washing it down with the cranberry cocktail that was to die for. has a super exiting yet relaxing evening and would highly recomended. would definitely want to visit again.

it was an amazing friday night!
at the entrance is a huge neon painted wall in blue, looks amazing in pictures
a small entrance decorated with dreamcatchers opens up to a huge spacious area with a variety ofseatingoptions whether for a cozy date or with family .
this area is well lit, has a stage too with a dreamcatcher background

then as you move further ahead is a huge stage for live performance with a full size led screen for the background
there’s a huge bar area serving amazing drinks, cocktails, mocktails .
the walls are painted in neon sea creature theme
there are tables with chairs , bar stools , sofas .. enough for a big crowd
there’s a separate big hall for private events with a music system & dance floor

we tried their
1. angara chicken tikka , angara paneer : not too spicy but perfectly marinated and grilled, both tasted great
2. wok tossed chicken , wok tossed paneer : perfectly coated with sauces , juicy and delicious with bell peppers
3. chicken malai tikka , paneer malai tikka. : creamy , well grilled
4. veg biryani & chicken biryani : were delicious
5. gulab jamun: hot , was ok not that great though
drinks :
1. beer mule : was refreshing
2. cranberry liit : must try this , my absolute favourite
3. sangria : fruits were well soaked

the music arrangements are one of the best i’ve seen
was spellbound by the performance going on by mr raiez khan & his band
spent hours there enjoying the delicious food & drinks .
