my grandson and i ate here today after reading the review and seeing the featured burger in today's star telegram. i had the l.u.s.t. burger with a side of fried leek rings. everything was cooked to my satisfication and i would have to say the burger and the side were the best i have ever eaten . my grandson had the pulled pork grilled cheese and he said it was fabulous . will definitely be back(many times) . price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. our two meals plus an appetizer was under 30.00 ogc

food and beer selection is awesome, but the service makes it almost not worth it.. i've been here many times, and enjoyed it a few times, but over the past few visits to the bearded lady, my good/bad experience ratio has tipped to the bad side, and that's simply because of the service. if you can find a seat at the bar, it's your best bet. if you can't do that, i'd recommend going somewhere else. i don't know how they managed to hire the most inattentive servers in fort worth. i used to think the food was worth the bad service, but last time i went the server asked me what i was planning on eating before seating me. i thought it was a curiosity question, but she brought it out and left. forever. i had a friend with me and he didn't get to order. we left and went for tacos. even the guests next to us were baffled. they all had empty glasses.

we happened into this pub after a fun day in fort worth, and it only made our day that much better! i had the bbb sandwich and nipped a bit of the fancy grilled cheese from my friend. both so delicious! and the fries! oh my! be sure to get the spicy ketchup if you go. the beer selection was incredible, but it was a hot day- so i had the pineapple cider (good choice!). our waitress was fun and attentive and the food came out quickly. i'm sure i'll go back the next chance i get (it won't be soon enough).

i will never enter this establishment again. eric 'the owner' just let me have it because i called to complain they got my order wrong through door dash. he went off on me and told me my order backed up his entire kitchen because door dash (not me) placed my order 4 times. i asked for their special ketchup because i am obsessed with it and think it is amazing. he got so pissed off at door dash that he openly admitted he threw in a bottle of heinz instead of their homemade ketchup and blamed all of it on me for using a delivery service. his exact words 'that's what you get for using a delivery service instead of getting out and getting it yourself'. really? he never addressed the problem, never spoke kindly, cussed and wined about door dash and favor. how unprofessional can you be. and you're the owner? what a joke! you just lost a lot of business from my friends and i. i hope it was worth it!

yes, i did it: i got the burger on the cover of texas monthly that just came out (50 best burgers in the state).

the lust burger was tasty: the while fried okra and the fried leeks were even better. and the huge beers-on-tap menu makes for a fun lazy afternoon or evening on magnolia. i recommend the tequila barrel aged beer as something to try.

great service today.

the burger of the day was a pork burger with brown gravy, beans, and lots of other stuff. it was to die for! the french fries are pretty amazing and the ketchup witch tastes like marinara sauce was even better. everything is well seasoned, just tiny bit spicy. i cant recommend my coconut porter, it made my stomach feel acidic. i didnt try the vegetable sandwich but my sis and mom moved it. the salad was great, wish we had ordered it with the salmon instead of chicken. the cheese on the mac and cheese is better than at most places. love that i can smoke there and that theres cute dogs to look at. the music is indie ♡ i had another special burger of the month in jan 2017 but it was too salty not as good. tomato basil soup was amazing

if you are looking for fast food, go to whataburger, but if you have time to sit and enjoy yourself stop in here. the drinks list is long, but my wife always mangoes to order what they are out of stock. patio is great whereas the inside is cramped but not to the point of discomfort. the food is good but be a bit adventurous or you'll likely be underwhelmed.

so disappointed.... i have heard great things about the food and really wanted to try it! i work right around the corner, called and placed and order. very simple.... one grilled cheese with side is fried leak rings and one grilled cheese with a side of tomato basil soup and one order of fried whole okra.... said it would be about 20-35 min... i'm a block away, waited 25 and headed over... i felt blown off the moment i said i had a pick up. so i finally got to pay and stepped back again to wait. the girls except one were pretty raunchy mouthed and didn't seem as though they were working at an establishment. so i continued to wait for over 20 more minutes. a girl walked by and said "guess i should have told you an hour, my bad" 😐 so finally my food was ready and i asked if it was all there and she said yep! so i hurry back to work (again a block away) and guess what! food was wrong! (shocker) the grilled cheese is a stale joke.... got double order of fried leak rings, which are pretty good. no soup.... and the okra is about half done.... $25.00 for stale bread with burnt cheese that seems it sat out all day, no soup to even dip it in to soften it... i love food and rarely get disappointed but yea..... pure bummed over here....

jessica socwell took me to this place one sunday for brunch. wow. i had a deep fried breakfast burrito, and the flaky crust was perfect. it wasn't a heavy, fair food feeling deep fried either. this place looks great for coffee, lunch, and after hours drinks! it's got loads of beers, and amazing foods. the atmosphere is so cool too.

it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. however, after eating a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich there i became violently ill hours later. i don't think the bacon was cooked and ate nothing else that day. buyer beware.

hands down the worst place i've ever been to in fort worth. unfortunately i can't say anything about the food as i waited half an hour for someone to take my order; no one did, therefore i left and ain't planning to go back

my favorite gastropub, and i've visited a bunch. the beers always rotate. they have rare bottles and get rare taps as well. the renovated old house adds a unique charm and ambience. the food menu stands on its own and must be sampled to be appreciated. but a must try: the tamarind pork wings.

what an exceptional pub! i can't say enough good things about the quality of the food and the ever rotating selection of high quality draft beers. the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the layout makes you feel as if you're at your best friend's house having an excellent draft and a comforting bite. the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about all the beers on draft and bottle as well as all the menu items. every time i go i feel very much at home, the ambience is ideal for a laid back afternoon with the perfect beer and simple but elegant bite to eat. if you are questioning if you should go i insist you head on over. you won't regret it.

worst service in the metroplex. not greeted when walking in--and it's a seat yourself place. takes 10 min for a tattooed waitress to see you, then 5 min to bring menus. then 10 to take your beer order. same gross inattentiveness if you sit at the bar. i've had to wave my hand over the glassware and say "hello? is it ok for me to order?" after sitting there for 3-9 min (yes, i time things). at zio carlo's (update: now chimera), you'd be on your second beer, have sampled 3, and ordered your amazing pizza before a bearded lady even noticed you're there. if you're dragged to bl, as i always am, beware that samples cost money. food notes: try the "tree hugger" items as they are yummy. but not worth the utter lack of service.

uncle john. been here a few times now and each time was great the beer is awesome and so many to choose from its the place to go if you're looking for that hard to find favorite beer or to find a new one. and the food from the "build your own damn burger and fish n chip's to the mac'n cheese is very good and worthy of returning for.
my only complaint is it's too small i have been there and not been able to find a place to sit and really guys you need a host/hostess to at least assist people finding a place to sit and spend their money there
