restaurant at the bayview hotel, gladesville. i recently dined with friends at the restaurant at the bayview hotel. it has been refurbished and the new decor provided a pleasant, relaxed and family friendly environment in which to dine. the most important reason for choosing the bayview hotel however, was the food. if you are familiar with the high standards of catering at the longueville hotel, the bayview is excellent in the same tradition. fish is always a favourite for me when i dine out, and at both the bayview and "the longie" it is as good as the best prepared and presented that i've tasted. my guests at the bayview recently, a husband and wife, are bothsteakeaters. one of them is arguably the most critical person i know when it comes to food. when i saw hersteakserved i thought, "my god, she'll never get through that!" she did, and was full of praise for the quality of thesteakand the way it was prepared and served. high praise indeed. so enjoy a night out at the bayview or "the longie." enjoy the quality, and the value for money.
