the bar - novotel hyderabad convention centre

so we have been going there for quite some time, but took this time to bring to light what happened over the weekend. so we were enjoying a perfectly good evening and were having thedrinkswhich are quite aptly priced and the complementary nachos and peanuts were good too, they however would come with a salsa and mayo dip which were absent this time round. then something happened which talks about the staff and the management of this so believed to be glorious place. an incident broke out where someone gave a peck on the cheek to one of my girlfriends, the management not only failed to diffuse this situation but rather were apologetic to the other side as they had some politically backed person with them. not sure if this is how things are supposed to be but i know for sure that any bit of eve teasing is forbidden and not sure that the management can just stand and watch and not take any action against the losers. my advice is that if you have girlfriends you would rather sit at the square and have your drink, because the authorities at novotel are not going to do anything in case things go downhill. it is extremely sad that things like these happen in a place of such stand and stature.

the bar .. the name reminds me of the bar from gone girl but that's a whole different story .. tucked in intelligently making use of the small space n easily accessible the bar has a contemporary air with a great sense of luxury about it .. minimal seating and bottles all around .. top shelf to low shelf to pretty much anything you'd wish for .. it's a star experience in its true sense .. the bartenders are swift n overly courteous.. we had stayed until closing time n not once did i feel we were being thrown out .. they value every person that comes here.. we just had beer but it's the experience that i enjoyed more .. it's expensive yes and not your everyday drinking place but it's worth it if you are out to have a nice time n not be bothered .. can't comment on the food cuz we didn't eat anything but the beer was chilled n the masala peanuts were good .. apparently they used to give nachos as well but that was stopped .. i didn't miss the nachos cuz it was my first time there but laureena quadros did .. thanks to her for recommending this place after all the chaos n loudness of the place we had gone to earlier happily unaware it was the ipl final and it was being screened live .. the bar was some welcome serenity after that craziness .. would definitely want to come back here n try out the food n the various otherdrinkson offer ..

best after party place, little pricey but name and sense of security with full gang at midnight cover up for that. it opens till 4 in the morning with soothing ambiance, poolside view is best to settle down and enjoy beer with complimentary nachos and coated peanuts.

food anddrinksare pretty good, long island ice tea is awesome, and so is beer. sandwiches are also yum. in short, this place offers good ambience, decent food and variety of drinks.

when it comes to late night parties, novotel leaves no stones unturned to keep you going on ! whether it be with your friends, family of office colleagues, the bar at novotel hicc has the perfect choice ofdrinksand finger food for you to keep the good times going on. sharing some of the snaps from my recent visit to the bar.

for people who love staying up all night and drinking peacefully, this is the perfect place to be at... unlike most pubs and bars in hyderabad that close at 12, this one is open till 3am! you can choose between sitting at the pool or inside or at the counter itself... this is least crowded for you to worry about ore reservations.drinkswere all good.. liked a cocktail which had a combination of coffee and whiskey.

great place for music anddrinksafter 12..visited here on saturday with a couple of friends and the band was already taking hold of the crowd... service was quick..got us thedrinksand food within 15minutes of ordering..staff were interactive..would like to appreciate ravindar for the cocktails (were excellent) and charita,harpindar (i think all the names are right) for striking up a conversation and taking feedback of thedrinksand band..

the area is not very big, but definitely up for more visits..

the bar at novotel hitec city is well known place for its great ambience with yummy finger licking food..
great wood finished interiors relaxing sofa and a great bar counter which hosts the finest of alcohol from around the world..

i was invited for the usda event in which whiskey made in united states of ameroca was aerved to us..
had some manhattan and old fashioned whiskey baseddrinksand to say they were just so apt and perfect with right blend of whiskey and other components..a hifive for them..

some yummy finger food were in the roll consisting of veg and non veg varients. such as chicken n cheese on toast ,calamari fried,,thai corn cakes and dal wadas were just finger licking good....
overall it was a great evening spent with some knowledgeble mixologists giving some info about the concept of making drinks..

want some live music after 11 pm ? want some peacefull atmosphere ? want to be with your friends till 3 am hanging out ? this is the place gor you . many many memories here now . attended many events and functions in novotel and dint forget to visit this bar everytime i go novotel . birthdays were celebrated . memories were made here . lastly ive been here for the iifa south indian film awards which happened to be 2 months back . good food and pleasant ambience . its a small place though . pricing is obiously high as it is located in a 5 star hotel . service is friendly . must try place after 12 am if your looking for somedrinksand live music

2nd destination of our pub hopping this saturday. at night after 12:00 am you water looking for a lively place. then novotel is where you definitely would want to go. we preferred to sit in the bar and not go to playboy as we wanted to rest have a fewdrinksand just chit chat.
reached at about 12:15am and was there till 3:00 am. what made the visit more amazing was live band called the highway playing there. they played all the english songs of my college days and i thoroughly loved it. from brian adams to backstreet boys.. :)
ambience was good and there place was completely filled.. we got comfortable on the sofas in there corner.
drinks: we ordered 100 piper's , carlesberg and a few cocktails
food: ordered podu idli ( highly recommended) and three way cheese fries ( fries baked with cheese on the top)
add complementary with threedrinksthey serve you but crackers. very few places in hyderabad gives u something complementary with drinks.

if you are looking for a wholesome dinner you would have to explore other restaurants of novotel but if u just want to relax, sit with friends and have a fewdrinksthe bar is there perfect place..

a place for late nightdrinkswith some live music on weekends . small and cozy place .drinksare on little expensive as i know it's a star property. they have separate smoking area . if u want a grab a beer late night this is it we don't have much options .

nice place my team had great time with live band and service super they are very friendly, food delicious spl podi idly withdrinksyummm!!!! we had couple ofdrinksand after that we had shorts at counter they given good shorts . only one place open late night .

live music is my best pick here.drinksare good and food looks satisfactory. excellent ambiance and a nice place for gathering. service is good and staff is very helpful.

have been here one late night in search of good live music. trust me this place won't disappoint you. such a lovely playlist and the night was lost in bob marley.. absolutely loved the place. we ordered couple ofdrinksand they were good too.

love to visit again for that live music !!

i've been here with my friends and we ordered beers and bottle of rum and the biryani was very good

the bar has become horrible. it was 'the place to be' probably 2 years back. the crowd is pathetic now. cheapsters all around. old haggard 'uncles', drunk chappal wearing lecherous characters. having said that, the food anddrinksmaintain the same old standard. the rating here is only for the service.
