the bar - novotel hyderabad convention centre

i have been to the bar last week, it is nice place especially the pool view was superb, the bar team was very freindly and professional, food podi idly and chicken drummets were good here. the band was grt well managed by the manager

been to the bar last weekend, such a nice place with great ambience and good collection of scotch and single malt. live band will definitely make guest go crazy. service here is outstanding. definitely i w all b there every weekend.

i like that place specially services and cocktails. we went my office team we enjoyed the music. staff was friendly i remember few names (jagan , srinivas ,pavan , kurmarao , mukul ) end of the day we loved that place .........,,

lively place. live band on a saturday night. pretty cool. well stocked bar, pleasant and efficient service. a few good eats thrown in for good measure. definitely recommended place to hang out with friends. cheers!

service- the fact that every one should accept is the great service you get there no matter its a weekday or a weekend its simply amazing.

food - i eat only mamsam vepudu at this place and believe me its simply superb

ambiance - i don't stay much in the bar just carry my drinks out and enjoy the pool view. if benji's team is playing good numbers ill stick there for some time.

favorite stars - mukul, pavan, sidharth for me as well for many others as well.

one word to describe this place....awesome!! everything is so nice especially the hospitality. the crew is so fabulous, venu, pawan, mukul, jagan, ashok, sidharth....all are so so cooperative. always feel like home! ????

a little pricey... but you are in a 4* hotel's always open bar and you can get a drink however late you can.

good alcohol selection and the cocktails are decent.

they give out nachos and coated peanuts to munch on. (not billed)

coming to the food -- try the podi idly. button idlies coated in ghee, covered in podi, tempered with loads of curry leaves, served with chutney. i know, unusual in a bar and that too an expensive one... but trust me you'll not regret the dish.

the sandwiches are pretty good as well. but make sure you ask them to grill them well.

been plenty of times now. has always been open late night not sure if it's a 24/7 place. love the live music and the nachos. food is good. not everything on the drinks menu is always available though. love the fact that you can carry your drink out of this place and head to the pool side if you desire. service is great too.

great live music, with blend of colours and vibes. must visit. the only thing is with the live music which gets closed by 11:00. rest every thing is fine.

this one is open till late, good music and good food... this has been one of our most favorite late night hangouts..recommended for visit once.

one of the best after party places to be in hyderabad. it opens till 4 am in the morning with soothing ambiance near the poolside. 

food - it is fine, just like any other 5 start restaurant which i am not very found of.
drink - long island ice tea is awesome, so is beer after 20.0 percent deloitte discount.
ambiance - the better part
timing - the best part till 4am and lots of place to sit around

it was a late night craving that made me take up my bike and drive down this place.

i have been at novotel a couple of times now, but this was the first time i had been to "the bar".

first impression, it's a cramped place which i believe only a completely drunk person would appreciate.

as for mocktails, we ordered a sangria. well, i am not a great fan of red wine, so i would say it's of more relevance when i say it was good.

as for the snacks, i ordered chicken tikka, and fries and a chocolate milk shake.

chicken was cooked nicely, but was too bland and did not go well with the drinks. it felt like it was something you eat as salad rather than a bar snack. milkshake was just bad. well, it is a weird order for a bar and with whisky, but still i was not expecting something which was virtually milk with a scoop of ice-cream dropped in it.

service was prompt and the only saving grace i would say. as for the price, its a bit steep, but it's not like you would be going back soon (as there are better places, of course).

verdict: i would go back only if i am looking for a place to get drunk at 2 o clock in the night with no alcohol in my flat and happen to be in the vicinity.

this place is like a second home to me. the food, esp. the club sandwich, out of the world. the ambience. the band, trust me, you would never, never be disappointed. from the beatles to pharell williams, hotel california to give me hope joanna. one would enjoy every minute! you can take your drink, go for a stroll outside or sit by the pool for hours, doing nothing. just sit and sip there and you will love it!
