best thai in albuquerque! my boyfriend and i showed up ten minutes before closing to order takeout. the server was welcoming and friendly... we ordered green curry and pineapple red curry. both were excellent and filling. i spent a month in thailand and have been searching for the good stuff here in the states. i would say that thai cuisine 2 is the place for authenticity. perfect spices and super strong flavor! i cant wait to try the lunch specials.

yummy. all too often i neglect the fact that i really love thai food and i don't eat this cuisine enough; well today reaffirmed how much i love thai. i have to admit from the outside thai cuisine ii looks almost downright scary but we can never judge by looks alone (well that is the outside.) inside it was a quaint little place nicely decorated, and the service was great! i ordered the thom kha soup which is hands down my favorite thai dish and was delighted when it came with rice (some other places charge you extra) although i excepted it to be a little hotter than what was described, i have to admit it was downright awesome. my friend who accompanied me ordered the pad thai which is a pretty standard suggestion of mine for someone who has never tried thai food. the pad thai was spot on as well as the fried tofu and the little eggrolls, well they were delicious. i really liked this restaurant and was very impressed with how wonderful the food was. thai cuisine ii is definitely worth trying!

when they say hot...... they mean thai cuisine ii..... the place is as delicious as the dishes.....
had lunch.... which starts with a cup of lemongrass soup that is so good i wanted to just stop there and order a quart. it just kept getting better with the ginger chicken but was really disappionted with how hot it was. i ordered medium and i tell ya what it was way hot even for my semi adventerous tastebuds.

the warm tapioca dessert... was oddly wonderful since my tongue was numb from the heat of my ginger chicken.


another trip is certainly in order.

the service is great & really work with you when you want to customize your order. there is limited space, but the atmosphere is chill & service is great. i recommend going in small groups and is perfect for an intimate dinner.

this place is amazing. the food has excellent spice. the flavor is bold and rich. those dishes come out piping hot and i always enjoy what i have. i recommend any offering that has those flavors you enjoy. time your as rush hour can have you waiting forever. good problem for the business, the only drawback for the customer.

we were traveling from florida to california. after a long day of driving we decided to stay over in albuquerque nm. as usual we went to our app and looked for something light and easy that wouldn't punish us during the next days drive. that's how we found this place. i love thom yum, but, i tend to order it too much. i asked our waiter what he recommended. after a short conversation of what i like and what i was in the mood for he recommended the pad kee mow (drunken noodles). i was thoroughly pleased with his choice. the noodles were cooked perfectly. the chicken was tender. the combination of spices was perfect. if we drive through this area again i will gladly stop back by.

pretty good. small joint with friendly service. my good friend enjoys the oversized fat noodle dishes. i often get the green curry chicken. it's the only version of the dish i've had that has eggplant slices among the vegetables in it. always very tasty though and always well prepared.

hot means hot!. when you order hot here, they don't mess around. food is consistently delicious. never been here for dinner, because the lunch specials are amazing and great deal for the money. comes with soup, two small spring rolls, fruit and dessert with the entree!

best thai. stumbled upon this little gem while traveling, and now try to find any opportunity to come back to abq just to eat here. hands down the best thai...and we had a little of everything. i'm coming back for seconds.

come here for lunch. do yourself a favor and come here for lunch. the lunch specials are about the best deal i've ever seen in town. the food is always good. i'm not a huge fan of the strange dessert pudding that they give you but that's just a personal preference on my part. i've tried a couple of their curries, which are all fantastic. it's not really the busiest place in the world, so you can always expect good service. i haven't been in for dinner though, because it don't really see the point when i can get such an amazing deal on lunch items.

good nob hill thai. i prefer this thai place to thai orchid. the look of the outside of the restaurant could use a facelift. the inside is cute and clean. the thai food is delicious and consistently so. i usually get a thai curry with brown rice. i also love this place because they have sticky rice, despite being a little chewy or dry at the edges, it was a great treat.

great lunch menu!!!. thai cuisine ii has a great lunch menu that comes with soup, spring roll, main dish, followed by dessert. a great value. they are very accommodating to vegans too. so whatever you order can be made vegan. i ordered the pad kee mow (spicy noodles), which i ordered mild and there was still a bit of spiciness to it, so if you are a super light weight for spicy food, ask for mild on the side. my partner got the pad thai. the meal is delicious and filling.

toooo salty. great flavors, but food was way too salty (i had a soup dish). i love salt, and will give them another chance, but made food almost inedible.

excellent and charming. very authentic cuisine - having enjoyed thai cuisine at montgomery thought i'd give this one a try - and was very happy with the food, the generous portion, the freshness, taste and ambiance (surprise! inside a former what-was-it red a-frame joint) - had the tom kha khai -broth, herbs, chicken soup with lemongrass - side of jasmine (or brown) rice.
have had thai soup like this across the country from new york chicago san francisco - very authentic thai cooking. still like their thai cuisine i with the hard-working waitress on the west side, but when downtown its a great relief to have found a new place to go besides thai orchid.
