we went to food junction after my friend recommended it. the ambience was not good which was not a surprise as its a food court after all. coming back to thai bangkok weorderedthree flavours. it was really very average sort of dish nothing too good or too bad about it. but worst was the lady at the counter. she was super rude and i felt like she had enough of her job and very frustrated with life. she was getting agitated with anything i was asking her eg. about the menu, extra knives and forks, spicy ness of particular dishes etc. you can forgive all the eye rolling etc if the food is extraordinary but for its average food i will never go there to get insulted.

this place is part of the food junction so expect a food court ambience. i visited the place on a monday evening around 6.30pm. there was plenty of parking & seating. iorderedthe yellow curry with chicken for $14, dining in. the place wasn’t busy so the meal was cooked promptly. it was a good size serving and was very tasty. if you don’t mind a food court ambience then i can recommend this place.

always delicious food and quick service, i liked my partners noodles more than what iorderedhaha but have been here a few times and have never had anything that tasted bad! my lamb was a bit chewy but the curry had a delicious flavour. we will be back!

if your in south auckland and in need for a quick bite , then try out the manukau food hall. this has loads of tasty food options and a great range to choose from. we choose the thai. this places lives up to its name is really authentic and tasty with loads of flavour. weorderedthe scollops and prawns with vegetables and the pad kee mao vegetarian with egg and tofu. the service is what you'd expect, nothing more or less with a food hall but the food came out really quick. would go here again for sure if i am in the area.

iorderedchicken and prawn fried rice and although tasty was charged 15 dollars and only got three prawns?? usually very good however. yellow curry yummy

ordered the 3 sauces combination meats dish & an entree of chicken wings. the dish comes with rice as an accompaniment. the chicken wings entree was rather dry & boring. there was no really flavour to it other than dry fried chicken wings. $7.50 for 5 pieces i expected way more. the main dish was average. couldn't really taste the individual sauces. sauce was sweet. it was ok but not the best. would not return.


03/05 - so i thought i would try thai bangkok again give one of my work colleagues stands by their product and was begging me to give it another go. iorderedthe combination fried oyster sauce. $13.50 and what i got was an overly sweet sauce with burnt meat pieces.
