cbd eatery. fusion food? mushrooms with pickled white horse radish. wham kepow tastes...then sardines with chinese vegetables. then rump of lamb with wakame. lamb kepow. dessert of chocolate & oranges. great fusion fission effect. come again....... for seconds......

great! have been a few times, very nice hope they do well. yep, solid effort, in my humble opinion. fresh delicious selection of eadibles, pricey but reasonable on canberra scale. lovely drink selection, some sherry on the go, which you don't often see so much in canberra. overall a treat.

smashed everything they served. doesnt matter if this place is to your usual taste, you simply cant beat interesting, innovative food, made with great ingredients, served quickly by savvy staff in a non-pretentious environment. suggest you forget watching masterchef or going to gym for one nite, and get out and try the waygu, ribs and donuts.

a and i ventured to temporada with the canberra dinner club , which is organised by the lovely erin from canberra blog, mouthless mutters . on the night, there were a group of eight of us, including  leigh and sonja , who have excellent twitter accounts which i recommend following. since being in canberra, i’ve found it interesting to learn more about the food scene in canberra. on the night, i was filled in by erin that temporada was opened by ben willis and chris darragh, both from aubergine. seeing as though i’ve heard fantastic things about the food at aubergine, i was excited to see what temporada would offer. the menu at temporada is seasonal, hence the name (‘temporada’ meaning seasonal in spanish) and the majority of items can easily be shared between the table. evenso, a and i decided to order our own plates as my two selections didn’t seem shareable. to start with, i ordered the beef short rib roll with fermented cucumber and horseradish mayo ($9). i love most things in buns

fantastic wine list, and and most of it is available by the glass. truly superb. food is tasty too.

delightful staff, excellent wine list with lots of by the glass options, good to excellent food, decent decor. would recommend.

the food is amazing, we had the $90 set menu and it is really worth it for the price you pay, the flavours are unique and you also have many courses to try, we will definitely come back in our next trip to canberra.

went here for a nice tapas meal with a friend and all dishes were great and the quality of meat was amazing. will definitely go when we are in canberra again!

interesting restaurant. they might mainly serve for lunch and dinner, because we visited at 11 and there was no other people. their menu is filled with creative combinations, seems like modern australian? never had those taste before, but they are good!!! it seems that the chef has put some philosophy in their food!

had a friend in town so that was my excuse to indulge in their chefs table which is a set menu for $80 per person. there were about 13 dishes to share between the three of us. the stand outs from this were the pork belly burgers, grilled buffalo wings and the king fish. flavours were all delicately balanced with the right amount of texture with every meal. i felt dessert was my least favourite. they had friendly and prompt service. the whole restaurant centres around a bar - i will definitely be back to check their cocktails or grab a drink.

cozy place to have a bite with friends and colleagues in civic. love the tapas selection of croquets and ravioli! and the magnificent juicy chicken!

so glad i finally dined at temporada. a small, dim venue with a really good centre bar vibe. tables were small and cosy and the service was really lovely and super personal. prawn dish was wonderful, well cooked and seasoned yet not filling. presentation was gorgeous and the greens were delicious. good selection of drinks, fairly pricey.

good service (especially rory), great food (bone mallow 👍🏽, burrata 👍🏽, parfait 👍🏽) good selection of beer and wine (even a feral brew from wa!).

this place is well worth a visit.
we had been before and this confirmed how good it is. there is a good selection of small and large dishes to share and a great wine list to compliment the food. great service

inspired by adventures in winterland ‘s brunch posts i headed to try out temporada myself. sadly only open from breakfast until 11:30am weekdays, it is a lovely spot with great service and ambiance. for a light breakfast the sour cherry toast with cultured butter and jams $8 is a good choice.

in canberra recently for a short stay and in between work i managed to re-acquaint myself with snappy little bar, temporada which i last visited over a year ago. on that occasion i was excited and impressed by the standard of food and drink, and this latest stopover reinforced my earlier view. this really is one of canberra’s best – and there are a lot of very good spots springing up around the city so competition is strong.
