simple and yummy. this is one of saskatoon's hidden gems. if you want tastymennonitefood, visit here. the decor is tacky but it's like walking into a grandmother's home.
the soups are good and homemade. the only negative is that it seems like they use high sodium broth starters which give a little bit of a 'fake' flavour. the final product would be amazing if real meat stock was used. the salad that the meal was simple and it came cold, crisp, and fresh. the perogies were tasty and fresh, but were swimming in a yellow margarine liquid. it is really nice to enjoy a good homemade perogie. the sausage was typicalmennonitesausage but was quite dry and borderline burnt. even though i have criticized this place, i would definitely return.
