tatohead's food truck

tatoheads menu is all about the potato and they have it down perfectly! i ordered the chorizo cheese fries with sweet potatoes and they were perfect. the fries were super crispy but not burnt and were amazing on their own. even the ones smothered in cheese, chorizo, and tato's sauce remained crispy which was impressive. the chorizo had very good spice, the mozzarella melted on top was perfect, and tato's sauce (similar to spicy ranch is say) added a perfect balance of flavor. overall these were some of the best fries i've had and from a pretty cool truck. only complaint is that i had to search for 10+ minutes for their location because the address listed on the "find us" was incorrect and they were not very close to the description for it either. still worth the adventure for those sweet potato fries though!

best food truck in columbus. we've eaten at a large number of food trucks in town, but we only consistently keep going back to tatoheads. my wife will drive all over town to find them (defeating the convenience of food trucks, i know). although they're all delicious, do yourself a favor and get the gyro fries...winner-winner

thick, cooked-to-order, natural cut fries, sweet potato fries and tater tots are the foundation upon which their spud creations are built. if you’re a potato naturalist (what i call those that don’t like mountains of stuff piled on top of their fries), tatoheads has specifically tailored a wide variety of seasonings that they will add for no charge, and sauces for your enjoyment, including their own tatos original sauce (a spicy chipotle-ranch sauce) which is crazy good!!

fans of fresh cut fries should flock to tatoheads , my new favorite columbus food cart. the concept is simple: order potato or sweet potato fries, add seasoning to them and choose a house-made condiment. there is also a limited smattering of lunch items and fully-dressed fries (e.g. veggie chili cheese fries) that rotate on a regular basis. seasoning options include chicago deep dish pizza, onion dill ranch, za'atar, cajun, herbs de provence and parmesan peppercorn. sauces include the original sauce, truffle aioli, curry aioli and red pepper cilantro ketchup. the curry spice and curry aioli create a spicy explosion of rich flavors. the cilantro ketchup is bright and fresh. the original sauce is a mildly spicy ranch dip. all fries are made with himalayan sea salt. the veggie chili cheese fries are a meal in themselves. the chili has pinto and kidney beans, corn, tomatoes and cilantro. it must be eaten with a fork. as a vegetarian, i find it easiest to treat tatoheads as a side dish comb
