i love taps but seems to be a discrepancy or difference between the locations. every time my family and i come to this location...the food is not always a "hit"....the one that is always a fail on every occurrence when we order it is the souffle`. i mean every time. the location is great -love the waterfront view on back patio....service is always good but the food seems to be a disappointment at this location when we come. the brea location is always on the money each & every time we go.

so-so. wasnt impressed enough to return .... their sweet/spicy vinaigrette for our bread was delicious ... other than than *shrug*

definitely a new fav!. if you are considering this restaurant and you are picky about service, food, ambience, etc - then read on. we took the plunge after reading the other reviews. the service was impeccable; the entire staff from the hostess desk to the wait staff (andy was great) were wonderful. the ambience was extremely pleasant and not overdone at all. the most important part of the review - the food was well proportioned and full flavored. since this was my first time i was torn between the salmon and the tilapia so i asked the waitress for her opinion - her suggestion was wonderful!
definitely adding this restaurant as a new favorite!

we frequent taps but always stick with the prix fixe menu which is delicious btw! today the chefs addition caught my attention, fillet and scallops over couscous with broccolini. it was absolutely amazing! but before we even got our starters the chef sent over a complimentary appetizer of ahi tuna with grapefruit slices microgreens and chili oil, some of the best tuna apps i have had to date. i will definitely be ordering the chefs specials more often! and as usual the filet prix fixe was really good. definitely recommend taps !

happy hour on saturday!. this place has a nice happy hour, m-f 3pm (i think) until 7pm, saturday open-5pm. you can get $6 appetizers and pizza. it doesn't seem very cheap but considering the price of their food, it's a really good deal. we usually sit outside or in the bar. the service seems to be more relaxed and friendly in these areas.

sunday brunch is simply the best brunch i hav ever had. you really get a bang for your buck. don't believe me then see for yourself.

sunday brunch. if you love a seafood sunday brunch like you'd see in vegas then go to taps. make sure you make reservations as they do get busy, but well worth the wait.

american/cajun yummy. loction is beautiful, patio with large firepits, dining that overlooks the lake. this restaurant has it all, good food, service and selection.
