tandoor - the indian grill

we have been to tandoor - the indian grill  a few months back. we were completely unaware about what they have and i was stupidly searching fortandoorichicken..lol! but it is a veg restaurant so i felt like an idiot 😂😂

anyways now coming back to the food we orderedtandoorimomos, coffee, lime water & mac n cheese ball.

👉tandoorimomos : it was for 120 inr. we triedtandoorimomos for the first time and it was really tasty. momos were very soft, tender and thye stuffing was quite good. but that smokey flavour was missing somewhere.

👉 coffee : it costed just 30 inr and was very basic. you can't ask for much at this price. by the way i make coffee much better than this...hahaha 😂😂

👉 lime water : bring out a bottle of chilled water from the fridge and pour it into a glass. add 2 spoons of sugar, 1/4 tsp salt and squeeze half a lemon. mix everything together. this is how you can save your 40 rupees. 😜😜

👉 mac n cheese ball : before we get served i was day-dreaming of that melted cheese but as soon as i took a ball all of my dream broke into pieces. i was just kidding,  it was tasty. but yeah though i was expecting more cheese. it

was for 140 inr.

overall it was a good experience and the service was amazing. the stuff hosted us really well.

recently i had this amazingtandoorimomo ntandooricorn cob from @tandoortheindiangrill ... .
@tandoortheindiangrill is basically a tandoor food themed restaurant where food is mainly prepared in tandoor style. the ambience is quite simple but you will surely love the concept of the food.

tandoori momo was good in taste. veggies inside it was fresh n juicy but it could have been better.

tandoori corn cob was amazing. corn is so soft, the sweet and spicy combination makes it more delish.& goes so well with the green chatney.w

though it is a pure veg restaurant but you should definitely give a try to this place❤

amazing food at such reasonable prices..tandoorimomos, thetandoorirumali wrap and exotic vegetables are a must try....

thetandooriroti was exceptionally bad is was sooooo sooooooo hard, it was like eating cardboard leminated with plastic. it made everything else go waste.
worst experience ever.
i want to see the chef eat histandooriroti.

2 variety of chutney

the momos were well cooked withtandoorispices on the outer side. the inner filling had cabbage along with onions and other ingredients likely carrot, ginger, garlic etc.

the stuffing was generous and tasted yumm too. it foes have some pieces of onion and capcicum too.

what could be better
there could be a mayo based dip added here.

overall an excellent appetizer.

i recommend the kitchen to add the afghani momos too in their menu.

will i order again ➡️ yes

finally a solely tandoor themed restaurant on siliguri. the place is very simple, staff are very sweet. the only backdrop is they dont serve non veg yet.
we triedtandoorimomos here. it was perfectly crispy outside with fresh veggies in the filling and the smoky flavour of it made it really awesome. wish to visit again to try their other dishes.
