come here for the crispy skin chicken. you'll notice there is always a queue outside of this place and rightfully so, tan viet has the most devine crispy skin chicken you'll find in sydney. unfortunately we didn't think much of their other dishes - the black herbal duck with noodles (vit tiem $12.50) and the noodle soup which accompanied the chicken dish (hu tieu ga da don $12) were both dull and lacked real flavour.

would i come again? yes, but i'd just order the crispy skinned chicken ($8.50) with a side of......well..another plate of crispy skinned chicken.

i can see why its famous for the crispy chicken skin. i wanted to be greedy and have the whole plate to myself. grilled pork chop, so tender and yummy!

a long standing dish on my wish list has been tan viet's signature dish of crispy chicken with dry egg noodle ($11) so it was an easy choice for me.

ok guys i went there to try this "sydney's best crispy chicken" and i was disappointed and wondering where was that tender chicken that just falls apart in mouth, and so i left feeling dissapointed and unsatisfied . the service was ok i give this place 6/10

best chicken noodles. i've raved about tan viet's chicken noodles in my cabramatta best eats before. usually i recommend the dry crispy chicken noodles; basically the soup and egg noodles comes separately.

tan viet is always busy, if you come after 10.30am just about any day you'll have to line up. i haven't been for a while because i simply haven't got the time to queue. for a change, i'm having the wet version; this is more traditional - where the noodles come in soup.

vietnam in a snapshot?. haven't been to vietnam, but i'm sure it would be like this restaurant...hustle and bustle...lots of people eating and leaving quickly...very fast...very quick and very good.

gotta try their crispy chicken with noodles...very nice...

just as good - vietnamese iced coffee.... good coffee hit... not for those who only like a 'weak' coffee! ;-)
