food was not that great

highly disappointed. ruined my day. such bad service. save your time and go to odean social or lord of the drinks.

went for a lunch instead of dinner i am sure the ambience during dinner would have been much better but the vibes during the day were also cozy. ordered a few beers and a few mocktails, chilly paneer, nd infused dal makhani. everything was decent. would definitely visit during dinner for the vibes.

had a very bad experience with respect to placing the orders. the staff were not receptive at all and took ages to bring in the food. promised us of a seat change (since we were 7) , that never happened. we saw some tables being occupied despite not being reserved. a clear case of preferential treatment to some! wasn't a good experience at all in short. would recommend people to visit local which is just opposite to tamasha!

the cutlery were not clean..few spoons were having leftover foods over it as well. we had to clean our plates with tissues by ourselves and yet they mandatorily added service charges and on bill forced on to pay while paying using zomato

i went with my family and we all throughly enjoyed the food. the rogan josh is one of the best one will find in delhi. most food forums will suggest overhyped places in old delhi but tamasha's rogan josh is much better than those. we also ordered prawn malabari which was delcious and grilled to perfection. many restaurants screw up grilling and either overdo it or underdo it, but this wasn't the case here. other than these, we ordered prawn fried rice and paneer tikka. the friend rice was flavourful and had generous portions of prawns in it. paneer was also soft and we'll marinated. going to a restaurant during busy hours sometimes might be a disappointment because the chefs are multitasking, but this was certainly not the case here. overall an excellent experience.

lazy service. no waiter came to welcome, guide to the seat, offer water or tell about the menu. they had to be called for every little thing. water was served at the end of the main course, that too without asking if we would prefer bottled water instead of their house supply.

to add insult to injury, they even added service charges to the bill because we were going to use zomato pro discount.
isn't it better to offer just a 10% discount instead of giving 20% off and then adding 10%worth as service charges?

their menu doesn't have tea/coffee. the reason given for not serving these was that hot beverages can cause accidents. these are very basic beverages that help round off a good meal. we had to break up the party and go elsewhere for a cuppa.

our last experience at tamasha had been a positive one and hence we had revisited. this time it was a complete disappointment. hope the management takes cognizance of this feedback and makes necessary changes in order to regain the erstwhile reputation and standards of tamasha.

i went there for my birthday, and it was the worst experience ever. they were not serving beers, not a single one. asked for some cocktails for which they had some reasons, and were not able to serve. no one was actually managing it properly. its one of the costliest bars in cp with nothing in terms of presentation. deserve zero ratings.

horrible food, absolutely horrible,if someone can't get the food right,rest does not even matter

i always wanted to go to tamasha, this place and name has certain zeal to it. however experience with tamasha was quite opposite.
i went there with my friend, whom i had met after long time. we requested to sit outdoors as music inside was quite loud and we just want to have some good time and relish some old memories. we were denied even though outside plenty of tables were empty. when we did raise question. the answer was much more irritating. outside table of 6 are empty, you are only four people. we chose to pay the bill and leave the place. when we moved out we were surprised quite a few tables were empty. those occupied had groups of 3 and 4 sitting on them.
food was ok, ambience you can have better ambience at other restaurants but still ok, hospitality a big no!!
so totally a thumb down place..
would never recommend it to anyone..

the quality of the food is good but the quantity isn't. the music is too loud for you to have a decent conversation with your friends or family while you are seated outdoors.

arrabbiata veg pasta was okayish.
non veg pastas are amazing.
mojito was also nice.
place is somehow expensive also.
