what a crazy place. who would have have ever thought serving a 12 dollar taco could work but it does and it is awesome. definitely some of the best fish i have ever eaten and ridiculous portions. very humble place. not fancy in the least bit. just big fresh done right portions

amazing food! had to wait 45 minutes but it was worth it. portions are huge so we could have shared a meal, but we loved the flavors of both meals!

if you're in the area, and absolute must stop. fantastic tacos, nachos, and fresh seafood. do yourself a favor and try the carnitas. family ran service with a smile. cash only but you won't need a lot.

if you like fish tacos this is probably a decent place, but i don't, so the food wasn't great. the restaurant is old and seemed dirty too. servers seem nice but harried. i guess that is why you have to get your own chips and salsa.

incredible!! eat here every time we come to morro bay. the burritos, tacos, and nachos are great. but the seafood tacos set it apart from any other restaurant in the area. the crab cake, calamari, or fish tacos are incredible and huge. you don't even see the tortilla under all the fresh seafood, lettuce, cabbage, mango salsa, dressing, and shoestring potatoes. it's simply incredible, try the specials and you won't be disappointed! also, temple-ade!

ok i am writing this for my family. they ordered fish tacos and loved them and have made return trips. i on the other hand ordered a taco salad (i don't like seafood) and wasn't impressed. it was huge and had lots of toppings but i didn't like the meat or the price! however let me say that places that are closed 2 days a week, are pricey and don't take credit cards must have something to offer or they wouldn't stay open very long. so go, have a fish taco and next time the family makes me go i'm just trying the carrot cake!!

awesome mexican joint. not fancy in any way, but don't get confused with a typical crappy mexican tourist trap. the food here is great and the fish is very fresh. full of locals (a good sign). i think we are the only people the staff didn't recognize as regulars.
the burritos are ginormous (litteraly the size of your head) and full of good quality ingredients. expect a little bit of a wait during rush times, but you can order a beer while you wait and help yourself to some chips and fresh salsa.

this is the best place to eat in morro bay. their tacos are huge and under $5. they have something for everyone, whether you love seafood, are vegan or just love fresh, delicious food. desserts are homemade and constantly changing along with their specials. the portions are generous and the staff is great. they only take cash or local checks and be prepared to wait if you go at a peak time.

friendly servers and fresh, filling fare in this bustling joint overlooking the bay. if you're of average appetite, consider a starter of guacamole and some delicious house salsa-- then opt for one house fish taco and a side of rice & beans. i guarantee you won't leave hungry... though if you are, a slice of the world's biggest carrot cake should finish you off.

wonderful seafood restaurant disguised as a taco place. don't let the name fool you into thinking this is a wannabe imitation of taco bell. they have three sizes of entrée: taco, tostada, and burrito, pretty much determined by the size of the tortilla they use. each tortilla is piled high with more meat (usually fish) and veggies than a tortilla is usually designed to bear. it's so tasty that it's got to be the best restaurant on the central coast, especially for the money. the desserts are amazing too. caveat: go early, as they sell out of food quickly and often close as early as 8pm.
