sweet and sassy. sweet betty's is fun. i've been there three times, and the male waiter is great. he really embodies the theme of the restaurant. the omelets aregood(not to die for, much like any other restaurant's omelets, but verygoodand somegoodchoices). the omelets come with lots of options for sides. you will definitely be full and have agoodtime!

blah. after reading so manygoodreviews i had high hopes but everything was blah. i had biscuits and gravy with a side of hashbrowns and some coffee. the coffee was so weak it was like warm water. the biscuits were overcooked and dense. they tried to cover that with flavorless gravy. the hashbrowns were okay but nothing special. i won't be going back. i can get blah food anywhere for less.

came here for sunday brunch upon the recommendation of a friend who lives in troutdale. i had seen this restaurant when shopping at the nearby gresham farmers market.
standard cafe menu. it took awhile to be seated even though it looked like they had open tables. very loud inside. service was friendly and food was well made. large portions. fun decorations and easy parking lot and street parking.
i got the bloody mary and eggs benedict. it wasgoodbut i was disappointed that the hollandaise sauce was gravy like.

very friendly staff, very kid friendly. they even have a little play kitchen and toys. a little pricey for the kids meals.goodpancakes and french toast; breakfast burrito was a little bland.

unsatifying. service wasgoodbut food was very bland and disappointing. biscuits and gravy portions were small and would barely fill a childs belly. i think can gravy has more flavor. wont be back but the waitress was friendly and after i complained about my portion size she gave me a discount. still not worth going back just for friendly service. if they get a new chef i would be happy to give them another try.

um suuuupergoodexperience. siri pulled this place up when i asked for "breakfast in gresham". i'm really glad we gave it a chance. i had the gabraella omelet with hash browns and a pancake and my little girls shared the french toast and a scrambled egg.
my omelet was seriously the best i've ever had and the girls food was really good. i even liked the pancake (i don't usually). the staff was really laid back and friendly. the best part of the experience for us was a little kid wooden kitchen with some random toys right near our table. it was the perfect little morning out for us. thanks sweet betty's:)

years ofgoodfood. this is the third location for the owner. i have been a fan of his menu since he first opened on main st. in downtown gresham more than 10 years ago. the food, service, creative atmosphere and attention to every detail has been consistent throughout the moves. the new space is wonderful. i recommend the french toast, really the best i've had anywhere. i also recommend any thing else on the menu, if it soundsgoodto you, you will not be disappointed.

intriguing decor, attentive staff,goodlocation and creative dishes made my breakfast at sweet betty's enjoyable. exceptional daily specials priced great add to the package. i sampled the cinnamon/raspberry french toast after my meal and hope to enjoy this on a subsequent visit.

sweet place to nosh. conveniently located on the corner of 10th and main, sb's is a great place for breakfast and lunch and is not going to be a east county secret much longer. they used to be closer to (historic) downtown (gresham), but beat the high rent scam and reopened here.

everything is fresh and the service is like you won't find anywhere else. i've yet to have less than 1/2 cup of coffee in my cup - ever and the staff is very attentive and friendly. breakfast includes anything with eggs, great french toast - either cinnamon or raspberry and the servings are very generous. lunches are featured with daily specials and a wide array of sandwiches from a great grilled cheese to the expansive monte cristo. and get this - specialties fresh from voodoo doughnuts on hand daily!

it's a casual place with wine-colored walls and corrugated aluminum touches; tables, booths and verygoodcounter service. check out the surf board from friends at hamburger mary's. they're prepared for outdoor dining as soon as the freaking weather improves.
