i am always game for thali options as it helps you taste a variety of food without burning a hole in your pocket. this wasn't any different.
the only problem with thali is that not all food tastes equally good. here too, the gobhi masala wasawesomewhereas the dal was equally bad. the chutneys were great, but the jalebis were awful.
overall the place is neat and hygienic and the food is good. just be aware of the sweet dishes.. they don't announce that those are charged extra and the server will try to cajole you to taste all by forcefully placing them around your thali.
