&sushi

i’ve eaten at both branches now and while the food is beautifully presented and tasty it lacks wow factor. the decor is beautiful and it’s a very trendy place but i think this factors into the price too much. if you want healthier, trendier japanese with high quality ingredients and lots of vegetables this is agreatoption though.

we found this little gem in 2016. unfortunately it has ruined us from being able to eat sushi from other outlets.
  we love their sushi. we have tried just about every flavour & type they have including the vege ones and their mini rice paper rolls. i cannot fault any of it. it looks beautiful but it also tastesgreattoo.
 after dozens of visits here we have settled on our favourites. the tuna roll with purple rice & mayo. the chargrilled salmon on rice. fresh tuna nigiri style. the egg pouch ones with seaweed salad. smoked salmon outside roll with cream cheese.  
they also do bulk orders for parties, events etc. we have used them twice now for this purpose with no problems.
we feel lucky to have found an establishment making sushi that is beautiful to look at and tastes amazing. for years we have been eating sushi from chain stores and never knew what we were missing out on. sushi this good needs to be known about.
  the store itself is small. if it is busy its difficult to manoeuvre around. avoid at busy times is our tip, and go before lunch time if you want to see the cabinets full. we liken it to art gallery sushi.
  they also have a menu for hot & cold dishes.
the staff are courteous, nice and helpful. always lovely smiles. 
best sushi in auckland, that we know of. your welcome.

these guys aregreatfor functions. beautiful finger food and delicious. whenever i see them at events i get excited and know it’s going to be a good show.

so fresh and delicious, it’s pricey but worth every penny! the food is presented beautifully, flavored were delicious andgreatambience. the bowls might look small but they are actually really filling. i thought we needed sushi but the two of us had to take half the sushi home.

one of the prettiest and tastiest sushi shops around. price wise is a bit higher than your usual- but come on you are paying for the aesthetics and the uniqueness of each different sushi!

service is alwaysgreatand sushi always fresh whenever i go.

worth it’s premium charge. very picturesque without compromisinggreattaste. thoroughly enjoyed all the sushi except for the vegetarian one that i accidentally chose!

they have agreatrange, covering all aspects of flavour and mix it up with some creative spins. sushi was fresh and tasted great. although the price point is outrageous and the sushi is very small... not worth the money. there is a lot more sushi places around the place which are on par with flavour but alot cheaper.

so much variety and innovative kinds of sushi to choose from.greatchoices for vegetarians as well. friendly service and a popular place judging by the constant stream of people.

delicious! quite a small place though, they need a bigger venue. i have a 8 month old so i need to bring a pram in when baby is asleep, the place is a bit pokey. the food isgreatthough!

designer sushi in newmarket! looksgreatand tastes amazing. you pay a bit more but it’s definitely worth it. i look forward to going back soon!

definitely the most good looking sushi i have ever had! the place is usually packed so it’sgreatfor takeaways. the most exciting sushi roll was the one with strawberries and cream cheese!

sushi beautifully presented and tasty,greatcombinations of flavors, family friendly and nice decor/atmosphere, get early at lunch time to get a table as it gets full quickly!

my only recommendation for management is to open tabs for tables, in that way we can keep coming back and order more and more, we were eight including children and had to do four payments, i wanted to have a couple of pieces more but couldn’t be bothered to pay for a fifth time

oh my god this place is delicious!!!! the food did take like ten minutes but it's just so good! i ordered the bulgogi beef udon and the teriyaki chicken donburi. the sauce and broth were both amazing?!!!!!

the seating space is quite small and cozy so get in fast cause it became packed after we entered!greatvariety of sushi but they are like $2.50 each so i chose udon.

so many people have raved about this place and as soon as we mentioned its name - everyone had onlygreatthings to say about this place. and i'm glad we finally made it there for a lunch break.

like they all say, you got to be there on the dot at 12-12.30pm or you'll miss out on all the sushi available! they're super busy. the variety and presentation of each sushi was so different to all the other places out there. like strawberries + sushi??! what is that?!! but that was a pretty good unexpected combo!

super creative here and it's almost too pretty to eat! not sure if i'll ever make it on time again! but keen to go back for more and try their meals like udon 😋
