sunset grille

really good, but..... i've been going here for both lunch anddinnerever since they opened. up until a year or two ago i would've said that this place is bar far the best restaurant in this whole area. however, they've been slipping lately. for some reason, the service is not as great as it used to be, and the food is not as consistent. i like a good steak on occasion and they used to always cook it perfectly. the last few times i've been here i've had to send my steak back (no, i don't like it well done). i still recommend this place though. as of now, i'm chalking up their recent slips as just bad luck on my part. we shall see.....

this place was amazing! while looking for a nice place to take my boyfriend for his birthday i came across sunset grille and decided to give it a try! we were definitely not disappointed!!! our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful with making suggestions. from bread to drinks to dessert everything was unbelievable! the sangria was yummy and full of fresh fruit. my boyfriend and i tried a little bit of everything, appsdinnerand dessert! he had the lollipop lamb chops as an app and i got the bbq bacon wrapped scallops. then fordinneri got the pork tenderloin and he had the tempura lobster tails. and with your choice of sides our waitress suggest their daily homemade mac n cheese, which we had to try... it was delicious! of course we topped it off with their strawberry topped cheese cake... everything was unbelievable. we sat overlooking the bay which in this summer has to be absolutely amazing. we cannot wait to go back to this place!!!!

one of the best in oc! amazing service and food. haddinneroutside on the deck. perfect evening outside. no wait for table outside but 2.5 hour wait inside. make a reservation. i could eat here every night!
