great ambience. food quality and taste is okay but the quality is very less.
the person serving our table was very sweet but the person taking our order was quite rude. his attitude made all of us at the table uncomfortable. so not going to visit this please again, even though i liked some of the options in the menu.

probably one of the best meals i’ve had in goa. the quality of the ingredients is top notch, the menu is exciting and makes it difficult to choose from. don’t miss out on the carpaccio and dynamite prawns!

we've been going to sublime every trip to goa. this time honestly, the food was good but this place just lost 6 of their loyal customers. not only we were served super late but no body was present at the floor to attend us, we had to go inside to ask for plates. the food that was promised to us did not come as expected. the waiting staff asked us themselves if they should split our steak in six portions and gave us 1 cold steak and then disappeared again. the prawn risotto had only 2 prawns and we're bland.

we visited sublime as i was really craving some great tacos. the restaurant is very beautifully made and is nestled in a lot of greenery. the food lives up to its expectations both on presentation and taste.
the only issue we had (which is big enough that we may not want to go back) is the absence of hospitality in the place. the owner is cold and even comes across as rude.the chef made conversations with guests he seemed to know as friends but not beyond. the staff goes around mechanically running between tables. there is no sense of being "welcomed" or "warmth". if anything we felt we were over-staying our welcome and rushed to finish our food and get out.

i found a hair in my food (dish name was plant based vegan bolognise). requested the server to take it away. he didn’t even apologise for the hair in the food. he did ask me if i want a replacement. but my appetite was gone looking at that 2 inch long hair

the ambience is really nice though.

chris is an excellent host. his menu is inventive, imaginative, and extremely creative. he has a great sense of what might go well with what.

docking a star because his staff sometimes fails to execute his recipes properly. definitely visit when in the area.

so we chose to visit this fancy restaurant in assagao near anjuna . the restaurant is very relaxed ambience with an extensive menu to choose from . though we wanted to sit outside but we didn’t have a booking so we had to sit inside .

we ordered

1) dynamite prawns
2) beef carpaccio
3) yellow fin tuna with miso dressing

literally the worst meal i’ve ever had. went here for a special occasion - we were seated outside, which was pretty but were bitten to death by mosquitos to begin with. waiters didn’t get us menus or glasses for water for a good 20 minutes. we finally ordered - server was clueless about the menu options and availability. we then waited over an hour for our food - in asking the hostess, she was rude and rolled her eyes at us, didn’t apologize and kept telling us to be patient. starters came mostly cold, dynamite shrimp was tempura that was completely soggy - so gross. the pork dumplings were overcooked and the veggie taco was tasteless to say the least. the mains didn’t come for 1.5 hours from ordering at which we left (it was past 11 pm at this point). went home hungry after a truly disappointing experience with zero apology or acknowledgement from the hostess or servers. all in all - super rude staff, very loooong wait times for cold food that’s not worth it. definitely skip this place!

sublime is no longer what it used to be. food was average at best and the service was horrible. never going back there. there are so many other options available now in goa that if they don't up their game, soon it's name will be forgotten.

sublime lives up to its billings. culinary skills assume an art form in this quaint restaurant. dishes are presented in a manner apt for royal lineage. it is just wow in every sense of the word.

a-mazing, was blown away with the simple yet so many complex textures in the food prepped here. the watermelon and feta salad was not something you talk about but the nicely balanced simple dish definitely was my highlight among others. the ambience is great and nestled in a old porto goan house they make the experience very serene.. must visit if you are in goa!

we went there for desserts. the interiors are cool. ordered three desserts and all were excellent. the warm cookie dessert was my favourite. it wasn't as modern as others, but it was very comforting and tasty. highly recommend the place.

3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered were really bad. calamari rechaldo / clams / asian beef were horrible. the ceviche was outstanding

great location and food!

we have been to goa many many times but never tried sublime. we came here for a "survival brunch" party after a wedding couple years ago. we had a lovely time on the beach which is 2 min from the restaurant (beachfront) and then we sat down to have some lunch. 

we tried many dishes from raw tuna, beef carpacio, kingfish carpacio, salads, steak, and their grand dessert ensemble which was delicious! would definitely return back to this place. kudos!
