slightly disappointed. thefoodwas great, i'll get that out first. i took my grandparents and they were pleased, yet they weren't expecting anything. arrived around half past one, we were seated on a table which had wet ring marks from the previous diners drinks. the staff were indifferent which surprised me a lot from what i'd heard from others. we went for the lunch menu, and my nana had haggis tattie and neeps, with me going for the mackerel salad. it was delicious. for the main she got the curry which wasn't the usual curry from the menu,,our waitress informed us. i had the mushroom and courgette pasta, a fantastic option for a vegetarian, not that i am one but i'm partial tofoodwithout meat. my papa had the coley fillet which in his option was perfect. my papa had the chocolate brownie for desert, we all had a taste with our coffee and although it looked as though it wouldn't taste very chocolatey, it was very rich and the cream was a lovely touch. the service continued to be lacking throughout the meal however but i still like the food, the lunch menus is value for money too.
