the best breakfastplacein sharjah and one of the best in the uae

i visited this cafe two days back with my friends. it has a huge bookshelf and over a thousand books atleast. the interiors are so beautiful and give total book-ish vibes. even the lights are book-themed. we ordered latte, macadamia and white chocolate cookie. the latte was really good but the cookie was so deplorable. the cookie tasted so old like it had been kept outside then packed and then served. i would definitely recommend to visit thisplaceif you are a books-worm. the concept and all is very good but i would just suggest them to serve only what is freshly available. will bring more of my book-ey friends along soon.

i am amaze to see proliferating cafe in sharjah. they are not just your ordinary cafe but the most instagrammable ones. recently i came to know about this cafe by the name storie cafe. as name suggest thisplaceis like an excitingplacefor a book buff. there is a dedicated area for books where you can get variety of book genres from arabic to international authors.

storie cafe is for those who love to eat and drink in libraries. yes! you read that correct, it’s a cafe with books. a unique atmosphere with great food and drinks (non-alcoholic), no doubt it’s one of the most instagrammable cafes. as i mentioned above if you love to read, eat and drink yes, this is theplacefor you. well thisplaceis a must try even if you don’t like to read.

i ordered katsou chicken bowl, cheese burger, saffron latte & a cappuccino. the food was so delicious specially the katsou bowl was flavorful and filling, as it had coconut rice. quality of the coffee was good and if you like sweet coffee then saffron latte is for you. cheese burger was normal, nothing wow about it however it was good.

thisplaceis ideal to read a book, to finish off your office work/ assignments while having a coffee. there were electrical sockets near most of the tables so you could connect your laptops/ phones and there’s free wifi.

staff were really good, friendly and efficient. atmosphere was clean. food was great. what more you could ask for? definitely gonna come back 😉

we visited thisplacefor breakfast twice wonderfully creative & flavourful dishes!

we had :
- acai bowl
- avo toast
- egg on toast
- cappuccino soaked french toast

yet our lunch visit wasn’t that promising :/

we ordered:

- custom pasta ( chicken was over cooked )
- dynamite pops ( avocado was overpowering)
- elchapo mac n cheese (was ok)

lovelyplacefor book readers. storie cafe is made for book readers, love the theme of the restaurant and the decor. the food is very good, they have different bowl dishes such as poke bowls, acai bowls and more. love their coffee a lot.

i had heard about thisplacea lot so when i came to sharjah this is one of the first cafes that i visited. sadly it was a wasteful trip as there were no good vegetarian options. extremely pricey and not that great tasting coffee; the 3 stars are only for their lovely staff and the collection of varied books they have.

located conveniently in university city. i ordered the fairy toast bowl for breakfast and it was fabulous. such a delight to the eyes with the color variations. however it was a bit too sweet for my liking and i couldnt have more after a few bites. the wall with books really ties together the name of the cafe. perfectplaceto hang out with friends or even alone to catch up on some reading or work. the staff werent too attentive. i had to wait a long time before someone came to clear my plate and give me my bill.

university city in sharjah is really ourplaceto hang out for food these days. we tried out storie cafe, which has a cool little library if you ever have to go out and eat alone. the avocado toast was well seasoned and the egg benedict was good too. a little odd choice for sausage seasoning on the benedict, but it was eaten nonetheless. we got the berries french toast to share. it’s served with a custard sauce, rather than traditional maple syrup, which was nice.

overall, the food was enjoyable, but wasn’t greatly satisfying.

if you were to ask me: “what could possibly be the best combination ever?”

i would always say food and books! storie cafe got it both. can you imagine dining and enjoying the sumptuous food around you while you are accompanied by the lovely books.

i was able to try a few of their bestseller dishes from the menu, and it totally didn’t disappoint!

aside from the delicious food, you can also enjoy the lovely interior of this cafe. it is something that would please your eyes and truly instagram-worthy! 😍

storie cafe is one of the must-visit cafes and aplaceyou would always come back to.

it is indeed the storie of coffee and the people!
